The guest acknowledged having written the book, but then immediately said that he no longer believed that he ever had a correct diagnosis. He went on to explain in detail about how we all live in a false Matrix-like reality and that he had eventually seen enough cracks in the illusion to be sure that they really are out to get him!
Ian's reaction was great; he was almost speechless for a bit and had to clarify repeatedly that the guest now believed he was never ill.
Ian thought was going to be discussing the serious topic of living with a mental illness, but ended up hosting an exhibition of it!
