ok, you've roped me in.

...  while it's true that i'm not attempting to round up an audience full of anagrammies, i also think the show is beyond simply "frat boy" and "vile" attempts at humor.  actually, the more i consider it, the more i think you must be talking about a different podcast because i've made a conscious effort to tone down the profanity/adult humor over the last year.  there used to be MORE of that stuff...

Well, you have to admit the nudity can be a bit off-putting..

b_dubb

The Spec Sheet is not "frat boy". There's never been an episode where there was an incident of "bro rape" after a night of binge drinking.

Get a Sneak Peek of Windows 9 in September or October

Threshold is the next major version of Windows that is expected to be christened "Windows 9" when it is made available in the spring of 2015.

Microsoft is aiming to deliver a "technology preview" of its Windows "Threshold" operating system by late September or early October to anyone interested. And in a move that signals where Microsoft is heading on the "servicability" front, those who install the tech preview will need to agree to have subsequent monthly updates to it pushed to them automatically, sources added.

Anyone gonna give the Win9 technology preview a go once it's available? ???
I might try it out on a PC if they ditch the forced "Metro" desktop crap.

Well, of course.  Along with sucking up a file that provides statistics about use of the software and the user's experience with it.  They aren't going to risk a major product release based on anecdotal feedback.

If you ask me, the SS just keeps getting better and better. Proof of that is developing all over the place :)

At least they ditched plans to team up with intel to make a "processor specific" operating system.  I read about that in like 2012 and thought NOOOOOOOOOO.

I believe the GabCast has demonstrated that

George Noory Soundboard > George Noory

How the hell is that possible?

A broken George Noory Soundboard > George Noory.

Why?

Because it can be fixed.

this is pretty handy for me, I can "hear" the chat on my screen with voiceover. Could come in handy at times. Four instance, I don't suppose you have the chat log for the last text she podcast? When I listen live I can either "hear" the chat or the program but not both at the same time. (Because the chat is voiceOver-audio)

wr250

not sure who your talking about, but i usually post the chat from the spec sheet and the gabcast in their appropriate threads.
i didnt post last weeks spec sheet as the chat room was a troll fest, and not at all related to the show.and that is now gone to the ether, unless MV has a log on the hosting server.

Tarbaby

Oh, okay, I see. I didn't know you routinely post the chat logs. Yeah, the one I was interested in was that one you mentioned that was a troll fest. Thanks for the response!

I hope your voice over does a convincing Australian accent for my text and not MV's "ello gov'ner" poor imitation.

Tarbaby

Oops, sorry all if I said textsheet instead of specsheet.
Voiceover is getting better all the time. It now has a setting that can be toggled so that if there's a? At the end of the sentence the voice pitch will rise toward the end of the sentence, etc. but no, it can't replicate your great Aussie accent knor MV's wonderful voices that he does.

PS, I just checked my settings and I can* switch voiceover to Australian English! Now if only it would do it automatically when it spots Aussie dialect in a text…
