Ann Coulter Pisses Off a Sizable Percentage of Christians

This relates to the Ebola thread. It's all over Free Republic. The same woman who once called 911 widows "harpies" and defended Joe McCarthy, has called Ebola doc Brantly "narcissistic" and wonders why Christian missionaries can't find enough to do at home.

I have never liked this woman. I believe that much of her rhetoric is for shock effect and to sell an endless stream of books, and this one may have backfired on her.

I agree. Ann has always been somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me. I love to hate her, & I hate to love her. But this time she went way over the line. Those Christian missionaries are heroic!

Wow, simply wow. Combine the derision of someone trying to help poor, sick people with the old "jews own Hollywood" bit. Amazing. I think the headline on thread should more properly be "Ann Coulter Pisses Off Just About Everybody." Doesn't anyone really like her? She is a shock-jock (and with that Adam's apple maybe jock is not the wrong word) who simply gets press by making shocking statements. I guess this works, for her but has she ever really done anything other than spout opinions? How does she get credibility to be on news programs even as a commentator or a guest? I guess, I could do the same and say she is an ugly, anorexic mudshark. Wonder how she would like that....
