Your statement is so flawed, I won't clog up the thread with a lengthy response to each and every point you feel you made. I will say this though, my LEGAL immigrant father has spoken impeccable English since the age of 7 and pledges his allegiance to AMERICA. No excuses. Lastly, it is not only "White people" that have a problem with non-english speakers. In my experience, not only does my LEGAL immigrant father take issue with it, but Black people are even more offended by it. I've Black relatives as well. Do you even know any Black people? How small *is* your world? So, in summation, you thinking White people are standing around glaring at immigrants speaking in "their native tongue" is proof the media is rotting your brain...but ain't it great you have the freedom HERE, in the USA, to demonstrate that?! God bless America.

You're taking an awful lot of what I said out of context and making some massive assumptions.  Nothing in my post was intended as an attack on you, your LEGAL immigrant father, or any black relatives you may or may not have.  This is something that pushed my buttons a little, and I felt like pressing the issue a little further.  Your father learned English as a kid, that's great.  Not everyone does, motivating a 30, 40, 50, 60 year old to learn a new language, much less teaching it to them is something else entirely.  Regardless of how you personally feel about it.  You had a family here, you were born here, you grew up with English.  You can't compare the experiences.  I'm not making excuses or advocating for people who don't want to learn English.  I study language, I love foreign media, no one understands the value of it more than I do.  That isn't the point.  The point is that autonomy, liberty, equality, and opportunity should not and cannot be limited to only people who do this or do that.  Hen pecking xenophobic bullshit should not be the cornerstone of America, even if a language barrier stands to make life more difficult for those people, it's their body, their mind, and their choice.  If you choose to look down on them in return, that's on you. 

You seem to be implying that because prejudice against non-English speakers is widespread, it's somehow justified and should be adhered to.  I never said only white people take issue with it, you're confusing a personal observation with a sweeping and racist generalization.  It was more of a jab at people that I know.  Family members, other people I've known.  I grew up in a primarily white, conservative area.  Not so much a thought as an objective reality where I live, that I find very frustrating.  If you'd like to know how many black people I know, I invite you to visit Cincinnati yourself sometime and count how many you see.  You'll lose count awfully quick at half population density in a city of two million people, and it might blow your mind to find that I have a gay uncle with a black husband.  You might also be surprised to find a plethora of Hispanic and Asian immigrants, and that I've *big gasp* worked with and even been friends with many of these people, in this tiny regressive world of mine.

And for finishers, I'd love to know what kind of brain rotting "media" you assume I flock to like a moth to a porchlight.  Am I supposed to be on some kind of white guilt bender on MSNBC or what?  Your sarcastic ending remark falls on deaf and slightly confused heathen ears given that you just before cloyingly insisted your LEGAL immigrant father pledges allegiance to America.  The actual pledge, last I checked, includes a requisite recognition of God's dominion over this country, so God bless indeed to self righteous nationalistic pricks.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have a small, pitiable existence to get back to.

B) George Noory sucks and has ruined coast. Other than SIT, C2C hasn't been worth listening to for years, and has little semblance to what it was like when Art hosted the show. It now has now regressed into a show warning us about the dangers of toothpaste and George babbling on about nothing. However, for some reason I still listen to the show, kind of like hitting myself in the nuts with a hammer every night. Yea, I know it will hurt, but I do it anyways.


Note: Every so often I turn to C2C to see if someone other than George is hosting, when I hear his voice I quickly change channels. I do not actually listen to C2C, I didn't want to be grouped into those people who do.

Did you ever wander through an old town and see a church that has sat unoccupied for decades falling in on itself?  Without "new blood" even the most holy of places falls into disrepair.

I do not know... we all agree that there is a "worst of Noory", so it only seems fair that there is something on the opposite end.  In Noories case it may just be possible that the opposite extreme of "the worst of Noory" would be the "slightly less bad of Noory?"

I agree with him. CNN has reclaimed second place for the most part from MSNBC which is tanking.

Art has been burning up Facebook lately by his standards good to see him even minimally active.
