keith rowland directed jimmy to say that art "had an announcement next Wednesday" at the end of the show last wednesday.

Yah, Jimmy may have been gotten played as well.  Even if Art were to make an announcement, he's likely to change his mind 6 times before the NC runs out.

I can spot a plug for 1981 Jethro Tull VHS from a mile away. Well done.

Thank the gods we never had a user named Kissing Willie.

I can't shake the feeling that I'm in the midst of the freeing of the arch villains from the krypton phantom zone. Clearly Eddie has a ton Of fans; how the hell did he end up in the phantom zone?

'tis a long, sordid tale best left untold.

I bet he felt like a prick after that.

I would call that, "getting caught up in some pussy."

So... what you are saying is my fucked up brain's ability to rewind into the past... I'm now able to cause that to happen to other people...

Could it be a portal?

Thinking the categories are "hang arounder" or "associate", then "prospect", then "patched member".  Watched a documentary once.  There's also a "service to the club" distinction someone can be awarded.  Might be the "One percenter" or the "Filthy Few" patch.

I used to be on a forum with ranks like those.

Exactly. Hopefully Eddie can put Moobs in his place.

Those moobs may end up wrapped into knots.

I hope nobody got busted for kiddie porn or anything.

Last I heard, his fundraiser was at a paltry $350, so I'm guessing his absence may be quite lengthy.

I suspect this story to be at least partially fabricated.  I mean, who's ever actually seen a Windows phone?

I do not wish to kill the love fest, but... I actually never left.

I just gotta be honest! I appreciate all the sentiments anyway!

This isn't necessarily about you, Jacky Boy.  But thanks for the thought.

Ha.  The weird are about to turn pro.

We should start a welcome thread for formerly banned members.  Imagine how the chemistry and good times will flow.

I think Steve is more consistent, but when Jimmy clicks with a quality guest, his shows are as good as it gets.  A few months ago his interview with Pope and Burroughs was the best Rendelsham program I've ever heard.  His best show IMO was his interview with Phillip Mantle. Mantle was responsible for breaking the story on how the "alien autopsy" film was faked.  Art in his prime couldn't have done a better job.

They both have decent production values.  It amazes me how some of the other shows on DMRN -- some of which have been around for years -- have such awful production.  And the shows on some of the other paranormal networks are even worse.

I still have no earthly idea who Casio was. Could she spell? Clearly an impression was made.

I wasn't around during his tenure, but from what I've been able to gather, he was/is a Youtube attention whore with serious mental health issues.  Even in his absence, he seems to make everyone else on here appear utterly normal.

I don't care how you feel, but everyone has to admit without Jackstar this board was a bit boring.  How many here felt that way?

No, we don't have to admit that.  Just because you think that way doesn't mean your opinion represents the forum as a whole.

I'm completely baffled by this.  MV was harassed by this person even after he was kicked.  So MV rewards this behavior by bringing the guy back.  Fuck this shit, last straw.

I'm thinking this might be a fluke or a glitch.  I see no changes at all in his demeanor, so I doubt the ban was actually lifted.

You guys need to hook up.  Seriously.

With that hideous lineup of guests, I don't feel like I really came along last time.

Other than the opening segments, I think the Starfire Tor show of his was the last one I listened to when he was still doing C2C.

He'd have done well to shed some of his old guests such as Hoaxy, that Nostrildumbass guy, etc., and let them wallow in the muck that is C2C.  The "new" Art Bell show could've been something a little more evolved, something more worthy of a guy of Art's stature, but still edgy and interesting.  Oh well... What could've been.....

by who???  do you know somebody who has been down there???  We are heading out in two weeks to drop ROVs and video everything...if somebody has any info we need it.

If not, nothing has been 'debunked'.

I'm referring to the HuffPo article which offers a more plausible explanation than the alien base idea and an explanation of why some of the pics may be a bit misleading.  Interesting topic, and I'm sure you'll handle it well, but I think the underwater alien base theory is going to prove to be another case of pareidolia.

Kind of like when a person dies, the cat gets a few weeks of free food, depending on the size of the person.

Lucky for us, because if our relative sizes were reversed, they would kill us and eat us without a second thought.  And I can say that, because I'm a lifelong cat person.

We will be discussing the Malibu DUWB discovery...

Hasn't that already been debunked?

I get why people are tired of the teases. But I don't understand the distain of Art, Mr. Bell doesn't owe us anything.

I hope he does return his show is much better than snooron and stark raving clyde lewis.

I agree that he has every right to retire and never do radio again, nor does he have to post in any forums or on FB.

What he does owe people is enough respect to stop with carrot dangling (if that indeed is what this is).

Taphephobia is the fear of being buried alive!

Back in Edgar Allen Poe's time, he and his contemporaries used to write horror stories about this very topic.
