In the scheme of things 32 guns is not that big a deal but still "in these trying times...."

Anyone remember a week ago when cops were still busting John and Joan Q Public for not social distancing properly? Now, people are congregating in the streets and rioting. Zero shits given by the police. ::) ::)

Trump’s a white supremecist again because a white cop in Minneapolis killed a black guy. He’s so evil!

Some assholes here actually care what this hypocrite poser thinks. So, here it is.

Here is former President George W. Bush’s full statement:

...The rule of law ultimately depends on the fairness and legitimacy of the legal system. And achieving justice for all is the duty of all...

Yeah, right. Don't make laugh. You mean like with this asshole bitch?

This has been addressed very neatly, at least in our local press.  Racism is a public-health issue.

https://www.king5.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/covid-cases-protests/281-8b4b10f4-a60f-4e4f-a169-42114bb32f70

WTF. That is some kind of mental gymnastics. So protesting the loss of rights was, presumably, not a "public health issue" and deserved to be condemned. But riots and looting fall under the heading of justifiable actions due to being a "public health issue." Suddenly the right to not only protest, but assault and loot are more important that flattening the curve?

Just a couple simple leaps:  we don't have that many blacks but in WA hispanics and whites each have 40% of cases while hispanics are only 13% of the population and whites are 60-something.  Essential but low-end jobs, crowded living, etc.  Addressing this disparity politically requires social upheaval that is occasionally violent and destructive -- I am sure you can think of a number of historical examples where rapid political change was brought about violently.  So the virus is just among the dangers the revolutionaries are braving.

There was a load of broken concrete dropped off a few blocks away from me near our shopping area, which has a few nice stores.  Police have cordoned off the area.  Amusing myself listening to the scanner as the police alternate between turning away roving bands of youths and ordering dinner, mostly bags of Dick's.  It would be so much easier to cheer for them if they weren't so fat.

Crazy thing. "Dick's" in Spokane is not, and has never been, affiliated with the "Dick's" in Seattle! I always thought there was a connection but, apparently not so. But 'bag of Dick's' and jokes still never get old.

This is pretty much going the way I thought it would.

As someone who bought a farm in the middle of nowhere because I saw where society was going under white liberals a few years ago. This is all fucking hilarious.

Oh, don’t worry! When the commies get through terrorizing the suburbs they’ll be coming for your farm, white boy. It will become the people’s farm and you will be forced to labor on it for the people (not you but better equal people).

I live in a 90% white Republican county filled with ex-vets and various government hating whackos. One of the main things I observed when I first moved out here is every male from crib to hobbling age seems to have some form of camoflague in their fashion aesthetic. I don't think it's to get pussy... but maybe?

Isn't this what every zombie movie has been since Night of the Living Dead?

The increase in cases is 100% due to larger families living in the same house and more "essential" low paid workers on the front lines (not the health care front line, but the convenience store and grocery clerk front line.)

I suppose one possible solution to avoid having so many low paid minority workers on the front lines is to burn the buildings down so that there are no jobs for them. At least then they will be able to "stay home and stay safe" while Bezos delivers the goods that they used to sell local...

I don't know why that makes me so happy.
