Also I recall some suspect charged with a felony assault on a peace officer when he attacked and almost killed a police dog. I wonder if a horse is also considered a 'cop' legally? The obvious solution is to throw a trash can through a store window and liberate some black Converse from the shoe store to honor the lives of Gentle Giants and Youths- who were turning their life around- until meeting a tragic end by a racist white cop.  The other option is sneak up behind somebody wearing a pair of black Converse, knock him on the head with your skateboard, rifle through his pockets, and steal his shoes- for social justice!

ps: I always wonder. When they loot the shoe stores (for some reason one of the first and most popular for them to loot) do they check sizes or try them on? Or just grab anything and then sort of sizing via later trades between looters?

The live feeds from within the riot as they stormed and burned the police station down may have been some of the coolest footage I've ever seen. This has completely peter'd out since the glowies can't get anyone to shoot up the protestors, yet. But the first few nights were awesome. Citizen journalism so completely BTFO corporate journalism, I wonder why anyone not in the boomer age demographic still pays attention to corporate media in the least.

Knowing how our society works, it will be censored off the internet never to be seen again. But I'd put it up there as some of the most kino live stuff I've ever witnessed.

Hahaha the thought did occur to me!  I am sure they check sizes -- I have seen tweets from friends at home relaying that information -- though trying them on and walking around checking yourself out in the angled mirrors seems a little risky.  And of course a sales associate is nowhere to be found.  If you know the brand it would be easy; Converse tends to run a full size large.  How about if I just order off ebay and deal myself a hit of pepper spray?

The story of a man and his dog. 

Man enters some sort of head shop kind of joint -  supposedly in NYC.  There are two coppers present. Unconcerned the man pulls out a knife while still holding onto his dogs leash.  One cop legs it and the other flees behind the counter with the clerk.  Guy with the knife demands a pack of smokes, which the clerk starts to hand over.  However since the guy still has the doggo, he has a dilemma.  Doggo in one hand, knife in the other - how does he get the smokes?  While he is trying to figure that gordian knot  out the clerk disarms him with ease.  The cop who legged it comes back to block the exit.  Totally screwed the robber puts his hands up which means the doggo is free.  It is a stalemate for a few seconds but when it is obvious that the coppers aren't going to do anything, the guy just strolls out.  Looks like maybe there was some backup out there that gave a shit so maybe the guy got collared - maybe not.
