Why does Sirius have its issues. Netflix, amazon video, youtube, etc. Stream without issues.

Netflix is HORRIBLE when it comes to streaming. That is their biggest problem.

Actually they told me it worked Worldwide. I have that in writing. They also said The U.S. and Canada. Yes it
is my fault for not investigating the troubles anybody can read about but I was putting all my effort and time
into everything show related. 20/20 vision is so much more clear when looking into the past.

Oh well, Art- I love ya man. As a broadcaster you have no equal. As an interviewer you could interview a Tree and make it interesting. I think you are the best thing that ever happened to Radio.

...But, I also think this was a way to get back at C2C and very ego driven. I think the nuimbers were not to your liking and you cut and ran and left some of us 'holding the bag'

-This doesnt take away from my memories or feeling concerning your fantastic shows- But it is what it is...

And yes. You do OWE an explanation (regardless of what your fan base says) since many of us bought a stupid radio for a stupid subscription service because of YOU who then left us after 6 weeks.

Here is the truth, no I did not check out the state of their streaming. Before I even
joined Sirius/XM I was told they have great streaming to the U.S. Canada AND Worldwide.
In fact I have that in writing. It was my own fault for assuming it worked correctly. I should
have checked but I am a Talk Host, not an investigator.

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate you.  I found your show in the early 90's and enjoyed every minute of it.  I need to get my Kenwood 440s back working again, so I can at at least hear you on the "long waves" until these other issues can be resolved.

I've never had one issue with Sirius or Netflix streaming. Which leads me to believe that many of the problems which sent people into a fury over Dark Matter was likely a poor connection on the user's end and Art bought it hook, line and sinker. North America has some of the worst connection speeds in the world, keep in mind.

I will say this: After hearing Art on GAbCast, I don't think he's being devious or lying about what happened. I do think he was reckless and could have handled it differently. I was one of his harshest critics for quitting, but I think it's time to move forward. At this point, it is what it is. As for Art being duped or misled, I would say that the concept of due diligence is not unknown and is generally practiced by parties entering into business agreements. In fact, it should always be done as part of a negotiation. Hopefully, it's a lesson everyone can take from this.

Penguin, did you listen to the gabcast from yesterday? If not, should. If you hear lies, then I would get a hearing aid or a translator. I just didn't hear or detect any lies or deceptions. If you were Art Bell and you did not walk away from Sirius, I would think much less of you. In fact, I wouldn't think much of you at all. It is the kind of rolling over for corporations like Sirius that is bringing America down. America only has as much integrity as its citizens have. It is wrong to reward Sirius for their behavior.

Well, there's your leverage. That is why we are always told to get it in writing. Hopefully the wording satisfies a judge or Sirius's lawyers that Sirius misrepresented themselves.
