Those are from ArtBell.com circa 1997.

Awesome. I didn't know that, and it makes me sad that I wasn't able to listen to Art back in the day, due to the fact that I was a kid who grew up in the middle of nowhere.

Isnt the reason Art left Sirius was he didnt want to do a dreamland style show. I think Art likes taking calls. I know I am in the minority but I like the Open lines shows. If you recall most of Art's classics were from open lines (usually a nut that called in and later became a guest).

I am of same mind with you regarding Art Bell's open lines. Some of Art Bell's greatest radio moments were of his conversations with a listener.

Yes, it is not a fight I want, but it is one I WILL have. I have asked to be released from the NC and
got a no first time around, now I have asked again and taken steps with Legal help. We shall see
what develops.

As for thinking George is a nice guy, those days are long gone. He should feel the sharp knife of
hypocrisy stab him every night when he "thanks me", I told him what a piece of crap he was after
he put Oates on in language that would make most Sirius/XM Hosts blush, still he does it either
because he has been told to do it or he really woves me, I prefer the former.

This has to go in the top right corner..

hey art always wanted to be on your show ,you going to have a listener as a guest night.

Art Bell

It is truly amazing, this board, rough as it is has taught me more about the cyber World
in Months than in my previous Years put together. For example spotting Trolls is so
easy now! Thank you Bell Gab.

Blah, I'm depressed. Dark Matter offered such a welcome respite from all the depressing crap that's going on in my life right now â€" unemployment, bill collectors, my dad still unconscious and in ICU. Now I have . . . well, let's see, there's a "COPS" marathon on, or I could mindlessly stare at my Kindle and try to read something, or I could lie here and stare at the ceiling until Ground Zero starts at 10 p.m. Yippee.

Damn you, Art.  :-\

You need to paint that on the side of the pirate satellite that Elon Musk launches for Art.  :D

Everybody has their favorites. Living in the east I cant stay awake till 4am. Listening to canned call ins is like watching recorded sports for me. On the other had, I have listened to the same podcasts of certain guests over and over again. Cant ever see doing that with a caller. Once would be enough for a lifetime.

Hey art if your still on is there any podcast or radio shows that your a fan of right now?

I started playing Minecraft on my Kindle. It's actually really relaxing, believe it or not.

Anyway, I genuinely hope things work out for the absolute best. Bellgabbers unite.

some times they do hide well among us, but they always have a trait or an easy tell, then we get the boot on em quickly

but sometimes they look like this and it's easy

Try podcast UFO. Only on once a week in podcast format,, but it is a kinder, gentler show with good guests

FallenSeraph

Oh whoops - I didn't realize Art was actually RIGHT HERE posting on this thread RIGHT NOW.

I said that "damn you" with love, by the way.   ;D

Just read all of arts post over the last week.

Hmmmm.

Never underestimate big money big power.       So true....
And the feeling something else was going on.....  Good instincts.

I signed up for Sirius when Art started and I called yesterday and cancelled. They asked why and I told them.

Snoory will just keep driving CTC into the ground. I tried listening last year and he just sucks and there are so many commercials.

The episodes of Dark Matter were so rich and well done. Snoory can't compete.

Ah damn. I missed page 420. . .

I feel your pain. I listened to Dark Matter during my "garage workouts", and this week I keep trying to find interesting C2C shows (I gave up on Brinkly's last show, and Mark Levin, and finally ended up listening to Dr. Savage he may be somewhat off kilter, but at least he's somewhat interesting to listen to sometimes).  Anyway, with Art I would stretch my workouts easily to three hours and tonight I quit after 90 minutes. If Art doesn't come back my fitness is seriously going to suffer.

Well, a person can not always have the best of all Worlds, we will stream for free live and
perhaps charge something for On Demand or Podcast. Not thinking that far ahed yet,
one step at a time.

                                                                                      Art

Not to put the cart before the horse, but I don't think you can charge for on demand. The torrents will quickly pop up with free feeds. I think if you make it free to download (but keep ads in their), I think that will be your best bet.

If you ask, us diehards will leave the ads in there.

Please show up on the Gabcast next week. Great to converse.

Dear Art,

Excuse me, I'm not supposed to be here because I retired yesterday (thanks for the well wishes Producer Paul), but Art- I recently un-retired because you did too and I want to tell you, retired or not, this dude's got your back. And your front or your sides. Whatever. Let me know what or who you need done. No scorpion army can stand in my way.  So, just say the word amigo, or preferably, many of them. Make me cancel my reservations to Mexican Paradise. G'head, I dare you. I sir, remain in your service.

Good spotting, Art.   It makes reading the board so much easier and more fun.

I've been out of the loop for the past week or so.  What's been going on since I've been gone?  I already heard about Art calling in to the ufoship podcast.

and your law degree is from?? Seriously are you a lawyer?
Of course I'm not and that's my point...anything is possible and just as likely to be impossible in this whole mess ..BUT even if I was a lawyer it would be irresponsible to make statements and present them as FACT without knowing the details/specifics of what happened and what's worded in the contract that Art signed...not to mention any number of other mitigating factors that possibly exist. It's just frustrating to see people type nonsense about how they googled something or talked to a friend of a friend and rushed here to post things as if they are "educating" us on the ins and outs of NC clauses. Since Art or Sirius aren't  providing detailed specifics can't we all agree that no one knows what they are talking about?? It's complicated and messy...that's the one thing I can say for certain about all of this.
