I've been out of the loop for the past week or so.  What's been going on since I've been gone?  I already heard about Art calling in to the ufoship podcast.

Noory is in Art's old spot on Indie Talk 104. Art Bell was on Gabcast. Awesome as ever. Non-compete is going the fuck down. Art is coming back. There is a God. Just no angels.

I haven't tried any add ons or mods. I'm thinking I'm no good at the game, because I'm on the second easiest mode and I've been trying to take out one NPC for a whole day and I'm not getting anywhere! I took out a few cities, but now progress is completely stagnant... but i gave up because I wasn't getting anywhere... plus the power supply on my computer broke. *weep*

You took the cities? Check your citizen happiness. The more cities you take the more unhappiness you generate, which causes production and gold to stagnate. I never annex cities at first, I just turn then into puppets so they generate profit and production for me without making my citizens too unhappy.

I honestly felt like someone died today. When I herd Art was coming back I was overjoyed. And I listened every time he was on..or at least the next day. Then it was over. To go from such a high to such a low is terrible. I know it sounds bad but my life is so bland Art Bells show was the highlight of every day I listened to a new show. It wasn't just the guests that fascinated me. It was Art himself. Like Stern...I always wondered what he was going to say next..or who was going to call and give him a hard time..JC....Now I don't want SXM or to listen to C2C anymore at all because like the thread I made in another page..I feal they ganged up on Art. And if not they could at least drop the NC contract. He created C2C !!! He deserves the break..the chance to leave a worth while legacy....anyhow Art if you read this I have one question I hope you answer please

If you have to wait till Fall 2015..will you be back then if health and life allows??? Lots of time to prepare...anyhow thankyou for all you gave us. I don't know anyone else who could do a show about a freggin hole in the ground work so well.. Love you Art!!

Not to put the cart before the horse, but I don't think you can charge for on demand. The torrents will quickly pop up with free feeds. I think if you make it free to download (but keep ads in their), I think that will be your best bet.

Not only the commercials, but also the NEWS. One of the things that I miss on the archived C2C shows (relative to many years ago when Art was hosting full time) were the archive with the top of the hour news intact it "took me back in time" and as something of a "conspiracy theorist" I believe that there is something intrinsically valuable about keeping original news reports intact for posterity's reference.

Blah, I'm depressed. Dark Matter offered such a welcome respite from all the depressing crap that's going on in my life right now â€" unemployment, bill collectors, my dad still unconscious and in ICU. Now I have . . . well, let's see, there's a "COPS" marathon on, or I could mindlessly stare at my Kindle and try to read something, or I could lie here and stare at the ceiling until Ground Zero starts at 10 p.m. Yippee.

Of course I'm not and that's my point...anything is possible and just as likely to be impossible in this whole mess ..BUT even if I was a lawyer it would be irresponsible to make statements and present them as FACT without knowing the details/specifics of what happened and what's worded in the contract that Art signed...not to mention any number of other mitigating factors that possibly exist. It's just frustrating to see people type nonsense about how they googled something or talked to a friend of a friend and rushed here to post things as if they are "educating" us on the ins and outs of NC clauses. Since Art or Sirius aren't  providing detailed specifics can't we all agree that no one knows what they are talking about?? It's complicated and messy...that's the one thing I can say for certain about all of this.

I still like my lawnmower analogy. If Sirius didn't act to protect their asset, it apparently had no value to them, so how can they now claim otherwise. Im not a lawyer either, but sometimes common sense does apply.

And the feeling something else was going on.....  Good instincts.

I signed up for Sirius when Art started and I called yesterday and cancelled. They asked why and I told them.

Snoory will just keep driving CTC into the ground. I tried listening last year and he just sucks and there are so many commercials.

The episodes of Dark Matter were so rich and well done. Snoory can't compete.

He didnt have to compete...There was/is no 'competition' that I am aware of. Fact is, having both shows on Sirius could have made Noory a better host (having to follow the master)- Probably not...But I can speculate.

C2C isnt even the same show anymore. It doesn't interest me in the least.

Art bell having a show is all I am concerned about, not him 'beating george' or having some competition/war. Just good fucking radio. Period.

If Art bell starts a streaming site it could be awesome. Something akin to 'infowars' but Paranormal themed- Hell, a whole 'network' like GCN has with Art hosting a show but providing content from other hosts in the genre over time. This is what should have happened from the start. Art has always been a pioneer and tech junkie and should remain in the forefront and not shackled to dying tech (Sat radio).

Hope you are for real Art and I wish you the best of luck.

If you are serious and able to pursue this I could see you taking the next step in para-tainment.

Oh, and you have not seen trolls until you are a Dev who recklessly enters a forum discussing his/her MMORPG...Forum PVP at its finest baby.

I am listening to Art on the gabcast show and I am amazed at his confidence. Regardless of outcome it is obvious by the tone of his voice he is going to give it hell. I hope he does, and my pessimism is melting.

I know exactly how you feel. My life is bland and rather tarnished and Arts cheerful nostalgic voice is such a comfort. And it's even worse seeing his fans take out their disappointment on him. But Art seems to be pulling though strongly despite his fans howling on one side and his second home (Philippines) is in rough shape on the other side. I would imagine he has his hands full these days.

When I have called in to Dark Matter and GabCast it has been using my the Skype App on my iPhone 5s (gee that sound so douchey) with the stock standard Apple earbud earpiece with built in MIC.

As for my own podcast I would not have much to say. I'm more of a color commentator kind of a guy. Need an MV personality to run the show.

Yes, it is not a fight I want, but it is one I WILL have. I have asked to be released from the NC and
got a no first time around, now I have asked again and taken steps with Legal help. We shall see
what develops.

As for thinking George is a nice guy, those days are long gone. He should feel the sharp knife of
hypocrisy stab him every night when he "thanks me", I told him what a piece of crap he was after
he put Oates on in language that would make most Sirius/XM Hosts blush, still he does it either
because he has been told to do it or he really woves me, I prefer the former.
