Sirius office addresses & contact info:

Alright! What's obnoxious and cheap to mail? We need to find a book that costs $0.01 from a website with free shipping.

Art isn't doing a web show. It's done. Either Sirius/Xm gives him his concessions or it is done.  The show is done, and Art is done.  What is a shame, is that Art is going out this way.  A radio host like Art Bell needs to go out with a bang.  Like telling people that the show is going to end at a certain time, and give his listeners the heads up. Do the XM radio for a couple of years, then tell your fans, that's it, I'm done. I'm going to be retiring at the end of March, or 2014... or whatever... Let the people know.  His leaving this way is going to let his fans know he is just high maintenance.  It reminds me of a two year old not getting his way, and stomping his feet. Sorry Art Bell, I'm just calling it the way that I see it.

Pretty much how I see it, sadly and regrettably.  If Art doesn't return to Sirius and leaves like this, I'll never be able to listen to his old shows the same.  This is just one time too many.  One less listener to SIT.  That should make him happy.

Art should screw it and just broadcast on shortwave. That would be pretty cool.

This would finally encourage me to buy HAM equipment

It's now surreal to me that this show ever existed.

Someone organize that campaign, I'm gonna go watch the X Files and smoke a reefer.

I'm cracking open a bottle of Pinot Noir.

I believe there was a non-compete clause in his contract, so he'll be off the air for a significant period of time, probably 2 years.

I wonder about that non-compete deal.  First, would such a clause preclude him from doing a show on-line, especially through his own website?  Second, if he slinks off to the PI, would Sirius and US courts have any kind of reach to enforce a ruling for violating the agreement?  Lastly, would PI courts get involved in a contract dispute not signed there?

All legal questions, and ones that could probably only be answered by legal types reading his contract.  If he would set up shop and webcast from the PI, I wouldn't listen unless it was absolutely and totally free.  Even then I'd be skeptical.

Which episode? What strain?

Just emailed Art asking what his non-compete clause is with Sirius.  He replied surprisingly, and told me 2 years :(

This paragraph:

Wonder if the writer knows that for a fact or is just speculating.
that article looks thrown together.
but i agree xm seems kinda old school and overpriced at this point.
but now i have it, and nothing worth listening to.

So it's Guy Faux day in UK right now right?

This cow represents our Dark Matter hopes and aspirations as it floats away to be eviscerated by aliens who all look like Richard C. Hoagland with a 3x normal sized head.

Top Gear for me. G'night, all.
well, I hope that is true... however, I chat with Airyn occasionally. She figures Art won't do a web based show.

Are you suggesting the poster is his wife?  ;D ;)

:P

No.  It is clearly past her bedtime. :)

I would have even taken a "Art Bell Presents!: " where 90% of it is guest hosts of his choosing. Just so it was his hand that steered the overall direction. Or even Sirius specials just so he could see if he could handle the work load.

I think if they don't come to an agreement they will part ways and tear up all that. It's only been 6 weeks.

At least he could be bothered to type up a canned response and set it on auto-pilot. He's probably touching down in Manila as we type.

Per http://www.corporateofficehq.com/sirius-xm-corporate-office/ This is the Address. I did a google search and came up with identicle results.

Write to Sirius XM

Sirius XM Radio Inc.
1221 Avenue of the Americas 36th Floor
New York, NY 10020

Executives
CEO: Mel Karmazin
CFO: David J. Frear
COO: James E. Meyer

I know this isn't an official site, I will keep looking. Tis is just the

To say what, exactly? I speak as one who has sent many a text and email to PremRat, to Lisa, Tommy and Dave to complain about Noory and what he/they turned C2C into. There was clear and good reason. But what is this campaign supposed to be? I can't see that Sirius have done anything wrong. Make their subscription-based service available for nothing? It would be like David Chase signing up to put The Sopranos on HBO and then demanding they screen it on CBS. Ridiculous.

According to this, he is... not sure if siriusbuzz is official SiriusXM...
"Bell is a radio icon, and will continue his show on the web.  It is unfortunate that SiriusXM could not match up to his needs."

Hmmm....badly written, thrown together at the last minute, and no source to support that claim. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

There's your Hitler reacts to/Downfall parody. Don't mind the typos, I put it together rather quickly using a Downfall parody maker website. I hope Widespread doesn't mind the good natured shout out to his archive.

Awesome Wenck! That was lol. I needed that.

I've been listening to Art since 1996. A few years ago, I re-discovered this forum along with some AB shoutcast feeds. I got re-hooked on Art. I did hours of home renovations this summer, and FineArt was there. I spent late nights in grad school working on my dissertation. FineArt was there. The last 6 weeks, I'd fall asleep listening to Art over my Sat Radio.

If Art is back on the air tomorrow, I will look the other way after a while.

Sirius gave you everything you wanted on a silver platter. You didn't get your way. Tough. Enough with looking for the easy way out. You quit C2C and came back several times on a whim. How many wives have you had? Romona died and you get remarried to a teenager a few weeks later?

Ill likely regret this, but I am at a loss now. Sure, I will post here from time to time, the forum is great. Great people here. But unless something changes, Art lost me. Snoory is 10x what Art is. At least he sticks with it (as crappy as he is.)

This SHIT is my celebratory drink for working my ass off today finishing five paintings sold for a show, buddy. I'm pissed at the news with Art, but hell...I survived worse these past three weeks. An aunt passing, a friend passing and one in hospice.

Right now I'm on Season 2 episode 17 "End Game"

and burning something called "Cherry Pie" (looks like indica-dominant)

Well, that figures.  I'm really beginning to wonder about Art's judgement.  This is all so bush league.  Art said that Noory "get's it".  I guess Art doesn't.

It'll be interesting to see if XM246 (the channel that carried C2C and Ground Zero) suddenly reappear
