Back in the late 90s it wasn't as easy to dig up info on people; but with the idiotic trail people leave for themselves, people like Choke-a-dong, they can be found out quite easily. Art might not care but there are ways to get guests that are legit and are entertaining as well. There's a slew of new investigators/researchers out there, just takes some time to look around.

Anyway, still a fun show with all the antics, and the fun chat as usual!

I think Art does care quite a lot. This show is still in its growing pains, I expect it to improve exponentially.

Yea I'm not really griping either, and he probably expected something different. I'm just saying, I really want to see him tackle some new perspectives, or rather, new people. It will work itself out. The paranormal investigation stuff has become a complete joke in almost every respect, so that's a very tough part of the genre to navigate. There's big money in it and the "smart" people take advantage of that.

I once believed in EVP but there are just too many outside transmissions and recorder interference that most likely explains the "voices".
The reverb on the voices sometimes doesn't match the room sound.
I think it would be very easy to fake these.
In #15 there is feedback during the voice, probably from their PA speaker they use to pipe in the evp voice.
Wonder why the voices always sound so muffled and not very crisp, external speakers could acount for this.

Well no - having used the internet in the late 90s it was perfectly easy to look at any profile people chose to present online.  The GIS presented a very professional tight-nit group of investigators that did not include Chunkamunka.  I listened to Brendan through his Coast to Coast GIS shows and even his fledgling show "Contact Beyond with Brendan Cook".  He seemed very credible and passionate about the field the entire time. 
I did not listen to him on George's show.  I won't listen to George. 
Suddenly here he is with this DJ Chuddles and all the EVPs sound like faked crap. DJ Cankle has a ridiculous internet presence and that's what he chose to present to the world.  Now he is part of the GIS.   They sound like people trying to fake EVPs.  It's disappointing.  I could listen to an old GIS show tomorrow and enjoy it.  I won't listen to tonight's show again.

I actually listened to the old GIS shows over this weekend and they sounded nothing like this (save for the classic ones they played).  And they do sound more authentic than the newer crap we got in the first half today.
