It's not like anyone here just lost Santa or something, that's not the point.

I'm just offended that they are so blatantly deceptive, whereas before they were presenting evidence that may have been an AC system or refrigerator coming on or someones stomach growling, but they weren't intentionally faking it. If you think that Barbara was faking EVP's then I don't believe that you've really listened to the shows that she was on. Or you may need to go back and listen to them again to understand why everyone here hates this show.

It's too fucking easy, there's no draw.

Yes

NO - before Barbara said there was no danger - even with them following you home!  This is such shit!

jazmunda

Just heard the "I don't like you".

Why does Chunga put on a accent when he fakes EVPs?

Remember, we ARE vaguely lovable

Yet vicious, in a tasty Canadian kind of way.  Pardon, viscous.

Question.  I remember the broken neck kid manifestation EVP when GIS first did it on C2C with Art.  I seem to remember that Brendan saw the kid in a mirror in the original telling?  And I don't remember Brendan saying that he asked the mortician if he'd ever had a kid with a broken neck there, and the mortician answering that he had, a year previously.  Did I just forget these details, or have they changed?

Plus, listening to the older EVPs, they sounded much more believable.  As someone mentioned, the voices were deeper into the ambient sound of the room while now they're like they're right next to the microphone.  I believe that the older ones certainly had an air of authenticity to it, while these new ones are setting off BS meters like crazy.

And here we go. The audio isn't interesting enough, going to start adding the video orbs. Thank god we don't have to see it since its radio.

I'm trying to find the clip - but I can't stop listening to the train-wreck that is streaming live - taking some time - what a mess.

You are indeed correct. Brendon saw the kid in the mirror. The reflection of the kid with the broken neck was behind him.

I don't see any problem with Brendon's retelling of this story.

What I liked about the old ones was that the comments seemed random and out of place, these ones are all responses to questions and "evil intentions" which sounds like bullshit.

Art saying "Clearly I believe that" at the start of the break? C'mon Art.

When I was eight.
I could never get past the talking car and the goddamn ape, even when I was a kid. I remember being outraged they would put the Ghostbusters name on that show

Apologies to MV, but the other thread isn't opening, so let's talk here.

GO ART!

Can you pick up EVPs from haunted items?

I wonder if anyone has ever asked an EVP what WE sound like to them ?

coaster

That last evp reminded me of when Noory said something about not having a "good night's dinner"

What was up with the live action version with the old guys and the gorilla... or is that what you guys are talking about? That was some weird shit.

I liked these guys. These guys were the real ghostbusters.

Oh my god.. I remember when a young, confused Bateman stumbled upon that pile of shit. And now for some mental bleach:

They had the rights to the Ghostbusters name from 1975 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostbusters_%281986_TV_series%29

I once got a FILMATION'S GHOSTBUSTERS toy for Christmas instead of the REAL GHOSTBUSTERS toy I wanted.

That wasn't the greatest Christmas!

Sorry we're such harsh critics Art.
We love the show.
YOU're doing great.

OH FOR SURE! We are adjusting the same as he is. It is an awesome dream to be here hearing this tonight! We just have a different media now, back in the day we only had our own minds, or, in my case, a sibling to voice this stuff to :) IT IS ENDEARING!!!! I Adore Art Bell~! So MUCHLY~! I do not feel a reason to critic every word, and I hope neither do all of you. However, I think we all respect where we came from. This forum seems to capture that innocence of the past. Babble fest kinda I guess, but there it is. Hell I'm where I was back in the day looking forward to a 4 hour maybe night of sleep
