Well, that certainly wasn't a ringing endorsement... There were actually days back then when I thought George wasn't so bad... I tune in for a few minutes every week and it's usually the most awkward thing I hear for days - you know, the guests perplexed and flummoxed over his inane, rhetorical "questions".   Why do I still tune in at all anymore?  Why do any of us?

Hi All,


Here I was googling around this morning and suddenly bumped into one of my own old Coastgab posts on Wikipedia--about Art Bell!  Then a few clicks later I read that he has posted here---which is the equivalent of a Catholic reading that the Virgin Mary is appearing in the air above their old hometown, Medjugorje, and the whole world is talking about it. AND SCULLY DID NOT EVEN EMAIL ME??


You just don't know who your friends really are.  I'm scrolling along and find Morphiaflow is back (kisses) then...wha...wha... FORT ROCK is also back?? Never saw a better proof of the existence of zombies-- looks like the living person but with a horrible corpse like twist and a detachment from reality.  You could almost feel the spittle and a rotten tooth or two coming off the screen on that scorpion rant. 


AND THEN, as if I am not already laughing enough, my old friend Agent Orange outs me as a possible day/night Fort Rock!!!  I have always wanted to be that person who can completely hide their identity by donning a pair of glasses, Clark Kent style, but sorry, it's not me. People here are smart and witty.  Posting a borsch recipe here is the cyber equivalent of throwing a handful of shit at a panel discussing the latest update on the D.B. Cooper investigation.  It is apropos of...nothing.


With Art having posted on this thread, I imagine "Art Bell Quits Coast" will live on that adrenalin alone while posters blame each other for having "driven him away."  I'm sure Art will lurk at CoastGab just to read the comments on paranormal subjects which still interest him. Considering the many forms of public expression there are today, Art having invited people to interact with him via Ham radio is significant.  He, like many of us who are retired, are sick of the politics of working.  Ham radio allows him to interact with the world when he wants how he wants and it is stable--doesn't keep changing like Facebook.  It is also an old-timers hobby and automatically filters for people who would be of more interest for Art.  A man in the desert alone with a very young wife and a little girl-- YIKES he's bored.


He has to talk or post somewhere about paranormal subjects, especially since it's 2012-- look for him on other threads.

I thought I saw a group passionate beyond passionate about the return of Art Bell to the radio. I now see a group locked into a paradigm which is antithetical to Art's return. You really DON'T CARE!

I am back at the popular request of the group here. I'm not apparently the burr under the saddle that some had alluded to. I've been reviewing the posts written since I left here, and find the waters warm enough to return! Michael, as much as I would love to participate in the Podcast as you've conceptually thought it out, I cannot. I work as a Substitute Teacher, and participation could affect my professional status. Who am I? This is the question on the collective breath! I'm just your low-wage professional who has some amazing contacts, except for the infamous "Portland Source". Here's the deal, the "Portland Source" and I have not been in contact in any form since late March of 2011. I cannot seem to contact her, and would not even try, with the lie she told me by omission about HER professional status. As you know, I told the group that in Early March of last year I found out that this source had not worked for KEX-AM 1190KhZ, the Art Bell station in Portland, Oregon for a period of 3-years prior to my last contact with her, and she had lied to me by saying she still worked there. St. Ignatias Loyola said there were Lies Of Omission, and Lies of Commission. She lied by omission to me in our re-occuring contacts over a 3 year period, then lied by commission by denying to me when asked about her employment status early in March of last year. I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE IN CONTACT WITH A FRAUD OF A PERSON! However that said, there are sources which have told me that Art IS preparing to return to the air! You see not only did Art face a Non-Compete Clause from lawyer like suits, but also faced one at home from Aeryn about Asia. Asia needed to achieve a certain age I've found out before Mom would allow Art to do the All-Night Thing again. Here's the news, Asia starts Kindergarden in September (time flys by folks). George Noory only got a Stay Of Execution from Governor Aeryn Bell! And remember Art enlarged his house to allow an Office and Production Studio in a way that Art can do his show at the time he wants, and allow Miss Asia Schoolgirl to get a solid night of sleep. Remember, what was Aeryn's job when Art and She met? A School Teacher, fully knowledgeable of the home needs of school kids! Good to be back people, send those questions my way, and great to be back to Coast Gab! And one further thing, it's great to see Ms. Anagrammy back too!
