I suppose that when Jung wrote "the archetypes and the collective unconscious" and speculated that "a son unconsciously seeks his mother in every woman he meets," he may have been onto something.  Chefist should probably pose the question to Myke on his program if he found what he was looking for.

Exactly. In the 60s people realized that while interesting and bearing some merit, Freud & Jung's work was very limited regarding its therapeutic value.
Beck's is the best although many also got into the work of Skinner.

An interesting subject but not as much fun as talking about the foibles of Falkie.
