20131031 - Spooky Matter (Thanks, Steelbot.)

Not being critical of him but I really could understand about 10 words. I felt bad for Art...but I guess he got it all.

I loved the fake Indian guy. After I posted the dig at the Finn here, I felt bad.
I admit, I could not call into a Finnish radio show and speak Finn (?) so I should not be critical.
It was funny. Everytime he said "code" I thought he said "goat".

Sorry, I'm one of those Monty Python geeks who can recite The Holy Grail word for word (in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Amharic and Haitian Creole LOL)
As long as you're not bald.

Art's lived in the Philippines... he's used to thick accents and mangled English.  Considering how freaking hard Finnish is, this guy's English was actually pretty good

Anyone else have memorable ouija board experiences?  I have and still can't really talk about them openly as they're too personal.  Not really scary ones in my case, just very real and strange.  I'm convinced they really do open up some kind of channel to, well something.

All I got out of it was something about a red light and a green light.   Although his English is one million times better than my Finnish, I just couldn't understand him.  Nice of him to make the effort however, and you could tell he was excited to get through.
I got about half of it. I'll get the other half when I listen to it again tomorrow.

"Just wondering George, are you and the show still sucking? I was going to listen to ghost to ghost, but then I remembered Art is on, and there is no need to listen to coast. Cheers."
I'm just that inebriated tonight.

I've always avoided trying to contact the hungry realm of ghosts.   They are there I'm sure. And, always up to no good.

The GF was born in Smolensk, emigrated to Israel, then here... we speak Yiddish at home, she speaks Russian or Yiddish with the family.  When she visits me at the office, after she leaves my coworkers ask me if she knows English - even though in public we only speak in English (well, I speak English, she speaks what she considers English to be)

Do you know what mic offhand?
I always thought he used Heil ProSet but he uses a Beyerdynamic headset. Very good
stuff.

"Hey Dave - you still on the air?  You're not on XM anymore, so I forget about you.  Have fun letting Ed Dames into your portal"

When I was about 19 years old, (1975), my girlfriend's mother pulled one out of a closet and wanted to use it with us.  She was quite insistent for some reason.  I was somewhat apprehensive as even way back then I had heard of some weird shit going on and wasn't keen on the idea.

Long story short, we did it anyway.  Asked a few generic things, nothing I can really remember except I do remember asking how old would I be when I die.  The answer was 56.  I thought that was ancient at that time and remember thinking "Cool, I'll get to live to see the year 2000."  Never messed with board again and would never touch one, just got a really bad vibe from it.

As long ago as this was, I was still a bit apprehensive to make it through 2012 and until my 57th birthday in 2013.

I once watched the Holy Grail dubbed into Japanese, with subtititles re-translated from the dub back into English.  It warped the language it such a way to make it even funnier.

Oh that's right, I forgot he uses a headset & not a regular mic.

Using a Ouija board is like stopping any stranger in NYC and asking them to come home with you and letting them know that they can stay or leave any time they would like to. If they so wished to. It could be anything that you invite to communicate and not necessarily a cardboard game. EVP's come to mind. It's all about intent.
