You complete imbecile.
Why are you so mean?

You could start by, say, typing "wood chipper" into that search box at the top of the page.

Night Train

Night, there are a lot of people that are painfully aware of "their man's" handling of his situation.
That however, should not lead to vulgar suggestions regarding Ms Wade and or Art and his audience.
We [myself anyway] would be pleased if Art could come back on the air.
That's all. No need to "nut hug" or character assassinate anyone.

Do you mean the posts asking if Heather is Asian?  When I read some of those, I DID find myself wondering if Heather might be a relative, like maybe a sister in law or something.  I don't think that's unfair to wonder.

It isn't "mean" to point out that you said something incredibly stupid, and that when called on it, instead of admitting it, you lied and said you meant another site.

And now you're lying again.  Actually, this post is two lies.

Typing "wood chipper", or "wood-chipper", or "woodchipper" into the search box brings up no posts suggesting that Art should be fed into a wood chipper.

On top of which, you just claimed you didn't mean this site, but another one.  So why should we search Bellgab?

So why don't you just say, "Yeah, I was a bit over the top there, and in my haste to defend Art without thinking I posted what is without a doubt the stupidest fucking thing ever posted on this site", instead of trying to lie your way out of it.

(And even if someone on here had suggested feeding Art into a woodchipper, feeding a judge into a woodchipper still wouldn't "pale" in comparison to feeding Art into a woodchipper.  It would be pretty much the same thing.   Making this your third completely asinine post in the space of an hour.)

So it's OK to come on here and say that suggesting feeding a judge into a woodchipper pales in comparison to some of the things that have been said on here?
Actually I confused over that.
My first thought was that I must have missed something in all these pages that constituted threat to bodily harm.
Some nasty things said, yes, not nesscesarly by you [I've lost track, sorry] but woodchipper material?
Anyway, peace N.T. and all, excuse my spellling :D

I've heard Art mention that his property is adjacent to BLM land.
I did not realize that Black Lives Matter owned land in Pahrump.

I'm hoping you stick around  ;)

Let me know who I got to contact to get that Pizza Roll deal. Yum yum!

I may drop by a few hours on weekends.  But I'll be adding Bellgab to my Cold Turkey blocked list to stay productive during the week.  This is fun, but it doesn't make me any money, so I need to cut back and focus on things that do.

Cold Turkey rocks.

I'm genuinely intrigued; it happens on YT video comments when an outrageous video is presented and the narrator/captions give the impression that the video is empirical evidence of (Choose as applicable), chem trails, ET, Ghosts, Nirubu, NWO etc. And almost invariably anyone who suggests the video shows no such thing, using such things as, erm,  facts and reasoned argument is met with denouncements to the 'heretic' of being a 'paid schill' or 'CIA/NSA/MI5/MOSAD agent provocateur'..

It's really quite amusing. Firstly because it implies that anyone who disagrees with the status quo and might pile in (as I have done, I admit) is by default paid by the alphabet agencies to do so! As if their POV is so dangerous, so destabilising to the population that all means are employed to parody or rubbish it; suggesting self aggrandising by the conspiracy theorist beyond belief. Secondly, that such resources would be wasted on rubbishing rubbish.

Because that's what it is: A conspiracy theory that Art Bell is so dangerous to the 'establishment' that 'they' would seriously employ a few disparate souls from both sides of the pond to disparage Art Bell! Seriously? I won't fall into the usual tit for tat crap about meds not being taken ,or cool aid being drunk, but I do worry at some people's critical thinking, or lack of.

I first heard about 11:11 back in 1994 when a friend was noticing it a lot, and mentioned that others had been talking about it.

It seems to be a good example of confirmation bias, imo.

This is how I feel about it. What I really want is to hear any kind of hypothesis that pro the "11 11 people" might have on what it might mean. I have heard 11:11 referenced by Noory so often, when I still listened to him, and I think the numerology woman chimed in saying it was meaningful, but I never once heard anyone propose what it means. In other words, why are we seeing it (presuming, for sake of discussion, that we are at "statistically significant" rates).

Quote from: Chronaut on December 26, 2015, 02:08:36 AMNice work posting the transcript though - it's always cool to see specific references like that  :)

I wish Art had followed up on this and asked the "11 11 true believer" guest (who otherwise seemed reasonable to me) what his hypothesis was. Maybe it was the timed break's fault, but it would be good to earnestly seek an explanation. There is an "11 11 true believer" in this thread, maybe we can get one yet. (Or maybe it's just a troll ::))

That isn't exactly what happened, or what was said..  but the "being a relative" part isn't so far-fetched to at least wonder about.  I'm gonna make a wild guess here and assume she's not, though.  :)

My attempt at comedy. I'm aware of the BLM. My uncle worked for The BLM in Colorado fighting wildfires for over 30 years. I just wanted to work black lives matter into our discussion.

Oh for sure cold turkey is a great snack to chow down on. Usually I just have some sandwiches, hot and cold with the leftovers.

But my favorite is cold pizza. More specifically a couple days old cold pizza... tasty!  :P
Although I've heard people suggest leftover pizza reheated in a toaster oven is spot on.
Yet to try that though. Would need a toaster oven first and I'm in no hurry to buy one nor have any urge to appear on The Price is Right to win one  ;D

Certainly not! And we're all the best of friends. I'm thinking we're still gonna keep Darth and Just Me at the kiddie table for now, since they're not quite mature enough to join us at the "grown ups" table.  (They also need their food cut up, still. That disqualifies them, regardless).

bNw,

Above, someone posted a link to a story about federal prosecutors ording Reason magazine to turn over identifying information about someone who left a comment on the site that a judge should be fed into a woodchipper.

They then said that those woodchipper comments pale in comparison to stuff that's been said on here.

I say that's probably the stupidest fucking comment ever posted on this site.

First off, no one on here has suggested anything even remotely close to being that bad, let alone worse.

Second, what in the world could be so horrible that being fed into a woodchipper pales in comparison to it?

Have you any thoughts on the matter?

I post/read a over at Godlike Productions. Are you aware of it? Pretty amusing conspiracy forum.  Most of the stuff I read there is a bunch of shit, but that's pretty much known going in. It's a conspiracy forum. It brings out all types.  I have read WAY worse on there- about the president, about kids.. you name it.  So in a lot of ways, that doesn't phase me. There.  On here, in a forum about a radio personality, and in a space that I previously assumed was a (decent) spot to talk about my favorite radio program, it does bother me. What type of posts specifically bother me?  I would say, for the most part, the stuff people have said just to be disgusting, that they know not to be true. I'm sure you know what I'm referring to. The ultra ridiculous, going for shock value only.   I don't think there's a need for it.  But that's just me.  Your tolerance is probably different for that sort of thing.

that said, unfortunately, you get all kinds who go around reporting stuff online that probably isn't worth reporting.

I think Youtube comments are much more of a cesspit. A nice few Youtube content creators just turn them off.
Especially when the whole comment system changed and people started posting walls of ascii art.

This is why BellGab is such a great place because it should be obvious even to the hundreds of daily lurkers, who don't bother creating an account or posting (come on lurkers! come join the fun), that everyone is able to share their views and opinions, even those contradictory to the majority. The tone in which they decide to do that is also entirely up to them.

I have no evidence Night Train is a paid troll. I am just joking around with him/her and I'm pretty sure they know that, at least I hope  :P

Well, first off, the original poster said there was stuff on here like that.  Not on GLP, which I've heard of, but don't visit.

Second, please give me one example of someone on GLP, or here, or anywhere, suggesting a fate that could be "WAY worse" than being fed into a woodchipper.

Sorry; I guess I'm not very bright, but I'm just having trouble thinking of anything that could be "WAY worse" than being fed to a woodchipper.  So please give me some examples.
