Hey does anyone know a good source of reliable information about the Paul Bennewitz incident?  I was listening to Steve Warner interviewing Mack Maloney on Dark City last night, and if the gist of their account is accurate then it sounds like it makes an excellent case for psychological warfare operations conducted against public figures involved in ufology.

If their characterization of the story is accurate, government security operatives gas-lighted Paul Bennewitz to death over a span of about 8 years.  Apparently there are claims on the record that this was done intentionally, as Richard Doty and William Moore have implicated themselves in this operation aimed to discredit Bennewitz and ultimately to drive him completely mad.  Apparently APRO had a wealth of material on this case which is no longer available, and I recently heard Richard Dolan say on a Paracast interview that he thinks they were confiscated via a counterintelligence operation.

Any fan questioning, disliking something or being disappointed and/or not believing something a celebrity does/says/decides/performs etc, does NOT automatically make one a "troll".

I am and always will be a fan of the product Art produces when he's on his game...and that is what it is - a product. I am not a fan however of how he treats his audience and his business over all these years.   

I agree. I like art as a radio talk show host and wont get giddy about him returning to social media and posting on here. That wont fill his drama void anyways. .

He needs to either be doing the show, planning the show, or quitting the show for the majority of people to pay any attention to him.

First off, Yes I will readily admit there ARE organizations working online to change public opinion, discredit and control dialogue on certain subjects and persons- Art Bell is not one of them. The thing is, when it became apparent that the stalker story/shooting/police indifference/ press indifference/ story change/ not a terrorist/ was kids/ maybe....events unfolded; and it was pointed out that things didn't add up, you insisted (because you said so essentially) that those pointing out the discrepancies were trolls/paid conspirators, etc. So who is being the troll?
