He wasn't all in. Right when he made the demand that the show should be free, we all knew he was setting up to leave. You don't make an unreasonable demand unless you are trying to get into some kind of contract dispute, giving yourself an out, bracing listeners for the inevitable. It was pretty obvious and I am not shocked by how fast this happened after he made that demand.

Now if he has other plans? I just don't know. We will see. I don't think he is the kind of man that would leave a legacy of that. C2C will never be his legacy because Noory will be the host long enough people won't remember Bell other than he started. Which is a damned shame. He must have an ace up his sleeve.

The show has a twitter account, he has a twitter account and he has a website. He could have used them if he'd been hacked. He just turned tail and ran from comments he was getting.

I don't know. From the outside looking in Art didn't even seem to try and negotiate with Sirius. He made a pretty big demand early on for them to let him stream the show live, and seemingly immediately when they said no he canceled the show, deleted his Facebook, and ran for the hills. I love Art, but I think this time we deserve an explanation. A lot of people, including me, invested in a subscription for SiriusXM to listen to him. He has no reason not to tell us what happened, and if he is reading this thread he should at least give us a small explanation and let us know if he has any plans to return to the mic. After all the cryptic messages over the years I'm tired of this.

I hope Art is well.  With absolutely NO reason to suppose it is a serious health condition (such as cancer) that has caused his sudden departure, it's the sort of thing that could result in such a swift retirement. 

Could the early numbers for the program have been such that Bell decided he'd have more listeners if the show were broadcast free?  The whole thing is strange.  Curiouser and curiouser....
