I have nothing to listen to at night any more. It is very depressing. I'm thinking of just listening to music... crap that's what I hear all day. Not into anything but Art Bell.

This guy -- Howard Hughes, is a Brit.  He's a decent interviewer, but the shows are short and there are only about 2 a month on average.

He also started doing this cause of his love for listening to AB back in the 90's.....

Correction:  He used to only do about 2 a month.  I had not checked in a while... the shows are more frequent now.

The first podcast presented was Jim Harold's "Paranormal Podcast" in which Jim interviewed Dr. Robert Schoch.

After the interview, some lovely music was played (I need to find out the name of that beautiful piece).

Now listening to classic Art Bell - an interview with David Adair from August 1997.

Basically they just said they thought it was ridiculous that Sirius said it would take a year to fix the streaming issues.  I listened a few days ago so my isn't fresh, but I don't remember them getting very in depth with it.  It was very much a sidenote.

The NoAgenda Show Curry co-hosts with John C Dvorak, an opiniated old curmedgeon (i've heard often on the Leo Laporte Tech show and occasional guest on This Week in Tech.) Dvorak has been around forever, launching one failed project after another. He's just plain crabby and off-putting. He's known most of the major players in the tech biz for decades.

Depends on your sensibilities; some people like Curry and Dvorak's ascerbic style. He can be insightful, he's always a contrarian and naysayer. Need I say, I find him very irritating. Curry, too, for that matter.

He's definitely an iconoclast and doesn't hop on any trendy bandwagons simply because they're popular. I'd say he goes out of his way to avoid and condemn phoney or shallow trends. Oddly enough, with his record of rare successes and frequent misjudgements he's been regarded as a go-to consultant over the years.

Wells sucks so bad he makes me insane.  I turn that ludicrous prick off every time I hear his brain damaged slop.  Ian Punnet was another prick like wells, running his mouth about what he too thinks he's got going on, like "ohh, I'm so clever."  I wish wells would fucking snort like Punnet because that would ice the cake.

Just finished listening to the GabCast! show with Art Bell's call for second time after all this time.  It WAS really cool.  What a damn shame he couldn't stick it out for 2 lousy years.  I never had a single problem listening on an iPhone.  If u think about it it's all the fuckers who complained about "I'm paying all this money," !please! go fuck yourself if that's a lot of money, "and my stream keeps dropping!"  Wahhhh!  You ARE the REASON he quit.  You know who you are too.  How many times did u all worm him to get him to give a shit about that!!!  This is why I think he's fucking insane and maybe fringing around senility!  After all the work, shit if I were Sirius, the more I think about it, I'd sue him just for all they had to do to get his show up and running!

actually if you listen to MV on my podcast I did, he said he had on good faith Art received well over 18,000 emails, pretty sure we don't have that number of members here nor the patience during the outages to have wormholed him that many times.  It was a legit problem, deal with it.
