Ah, I thought I was the only one that hated the 4th.  Yes, the idiots and their fireworks scare the hell out of me and the kitty.  It's not that they are wasting their money, it's not minor explosives in the hands of malnourished retards, it's the simple fact that I cannot tell what is a fireworks explosion and what is a gunshot.

They all sound the same to me.

If you had made some sort of supportive statement about someone's drinking I probably would have just moved on. But it seemed to me you were tossing the term depression around because it fit your world view.

Telling someone they are depressed does little to help them feel better. I somehow get the feeling that was your purpose. I may be wrong about that.
