I think Gina said her chickens have been acting weird and she's getting a bad vibe, too.
Are you close to a fault line or a volcano?
Stay safe guys....

Do we get to ridicule you if nothing happens like we ridicule psychics that don't record their "predictions" when something actually happens? :P

I NEW it!! I went out to my barn today and all of the chickens were in a huddle talking wildly. But when I came in they all clammed up and just looked around the room whistling.;-)

Yep. Chickens were acting really weird the other day. Today all the wild birds were acting very excited. Could just be the storms we've had over the past few days.  I don't know. Yeah, we're right on top of fault lines and very close to Mt. Rainier too.  I'm actually heading up to Mt. Rainier on Sunday and staying for a few days to do some poking around and get some photos. It'll just be my luck to have Mt. Rainier blow and I'd be swallowed up in a lahar whilst trying to get good photos.  ::)

I'd attribute it to the radical change in weather here in the Pacific Northwest and Pacific Canada.  We've gone from what must be a record hot and dry summer to fall-like weather with torrential downpours (at least the past couple of days).

Have fun on Mt. Rainier.  I was very impressed with the pictures you shared of Mt. St. Helens.

Thanks! I hope I'll get some decent shots. I haven't checked the forecast yet. I'm hoping for cooler but sunny weather.

Today was the first day in well over a month that felt like a normal weather day. The past month or so was just so damn hot and dry. I was so happy to see a rainy day. My rain barrel is now full again. My grass still looks like dried out Oklahoma grass.  :-[

Tread softly on that mountain.  Know your escape routes.
And good luck with the photos.  You have a special talent and I enjoy all your shots.   :)

It seems like every time I shop at a certain local grocer, their kale is inedible, e.g. wilted, discolored, etc.

I wonder if they sell any of that stuff.

I've been experiencing kale-related synchronicities all week... also the phrase 'on the fence'.

It's inedible when fresh.

My name is Camazotz Automat and I was once a Coastaholic.  I no longer listen to talk radio. Period. Yet I still keep coming here, trying to pick up chicks and steal all the stale donuts and free coffee.

I've been trying to persuade MV to give out attendance tokens for years.

That sparked an old memory. I realize it has nothing to do with any anything, but I recall the time I spent as a struggling college student. I had a g/f who worked 3rd shift at a popular doughnut shop. I would always visit her around 4AM. That`s when they throw the old doughnuts out. I scored....huge.

when I "read "people's posts I actually "hear" them via voice over. And that time it sounded like your alias was "Camelsocks almanac". :-)

"Camelsocks Almanac" sounds like either a Captain Beefheart song, or a nickname he gave to one of his band members.

In a world where Victoria's Secret models live to the age of 125, this is their yearly indexed publication: Camel Socks Almanac.

That wasn't kale...and are you sure the phrase wasn't "jump the fence?"
