Although I was predicting this kind of things for years it is still amazing that it is coming true and almost without any push-back from politicians, artists, historians, clergymen, or people. Even statues of Grant are bad now? Simply because he was white?

I heard some white guy interviewed this morning that is refusing to help the police identify a guy who stole his car at gunpoint because he doesn't want to offend. Now, the real reason is likely since police in Minneapolis are on stand-down and less funded, or disbanded, he is simply afraid of payback "stitches for snitches" or just thankful that they didn't rape and kill his family but only tried to get a car.

I'm not sure why the police are involved in this incident since they should've been abolished and defunded by now due to Black Lives Mattering.  Note that the racist police removed his mask for the mugshot which is very dangerous and inhumane because BLM and he could get Corona-Chan by being unmasked, even briefly. Hopefully some lawyer will intervene and stop this injustice and racism.

There is very little attention paid to this...maybe obscure papers by doctorates...but did these events really motivate the population in Germany that was "on the fence" about Nazism? I was listening to a great audiobook on the D-Day invasion...German POW's asked how the Americans were coping with the fact New York was destroyed by German bombing. I was thinking about the "new & improved reformed police" policies today.  I would like to help, and am trying to come up with some new non-lethal policies and equipment.

Today's thought is bolas, worn as equipment on the belt just under the handcuffs.  Once a suspect is handcuffed, they no longer will need to be sat upon, kneeled upon, or stood upon.  A convivial detention can then ensue while "thangs is figgered out."  If the handcuffed suspect subsequently decides to attempt to flee, they would be well advised to do so slowly;  as runinng with your hands cuffed behind your back while getting a set of "tanglefeet" wrapped around your ankles/knees is probably a bad idea.  To quote
Billy Smith,  "It may even kill you!"

Now the hand-cuffed suspect will be able to decide for themselves the level of injury they sustain in the flight attempt.  I believe this may also assist in cleaning the gene-pool a little bit, perhaps not as harshly as using chlorine or other chemical, biological or nuclear technologies.

In my humble opine, it is a green, carbon-neutral and earf-reindly solutation.

I actually listened to this today. Some good radio. Cursing, recriminations, black aldermen calling for police to be tough, descriptions of the crime, the mayor saying one alderman is full of shit, chaos, admissions by black alderwomen about the rioters ruining their own neighborhoods and all the progress that has been made (to show you level of Chicago the biggest source of pride was getting a CVS, now burnt and looted,) warnings about it being 'the wild west,' gangmembers with AKs, pulling up bridges to block movements of the roving gangs, and more incompetence. "you want my good churchgoing people to go out and speak with the looters to help calm the situation down? We are talking about armed gangmembers I will not suggest this!" Other guy wanted to clarify why police aren't shooting back. And complaints that even teenage girls are looting and acting violently and nobody respects the police and that is a major problem- this from a black alderman in Chicago.
