They have the area sealed up pretty good now, all the way through the park.  There is a small crowd gathering on the perimeter a few blocks away including Trumpet Man who now apparently wields a War Ukelele.  Thank God he survived and seems in good spirits but I hope the War Trumpet was not confiscated!

So many thoughts. I assume that @MayorJenny realized that while she may get the title "honourary CHOP mayor" that it is unlikely to pay as well as her present position? She probably realized that she could no longer sell the "summer of love" to her voters and she would lose her nice 6 figure income and assorted perks.

I also believe that Raz should sue the city for preventing him from earning a living. Surely rapper / despotic warlord is not an easy career to find other openings in? I would think that under some kind of contract law he offered his services, the population accepted his terms, and he was gainfully employed. And then the evil mayor illegally brought his right to enter into a contract with the population to an end.*

Yes. They shot the killer and turned him over to the police. Then they were upset that he was charged so quickly. Personally, I think the police should have acted as though they had been defunded, given the guy fresh ammunition, drove him back to the protest and let him out on "bail."

Talk about clown world. Can you imagine immediately locking up a man who shot others?

I heard on my AM radio that she was outraged that someone (rumor has it a city council member) leaked her home address and some folks went there to protest. So she decided at 2am to stop the "block party," as she previously had called CHAZ/CHOP.   

As usual with these types once it effects their neighborhoods or schools they get involved but they don't care about anyone else. Note how many of the anti-gun Hollywood stars have privately armed security and made ultra-violent shoot 'em up movies but say defund police, ban guns, and police are racist. Or how the politicians and Hollywood promote failing public schools but send their kids to expensive private schools.

Interesting. I thought maybe it had something to do with the "patriots" that were planning on marching and tearing it down on the 4th. I figured maybe she didn't want to risk a few hundred dead and shot in the start of an actual war. I think the facebook page was up to a few thousand who said they were going- including a number of motorcycle clubs. While they promised to be "peaceful" while tearing down the barriers, I assume they would have happily returned fire. 

Poor @mayorjenny. Nobody should be doxed.
