Fucking savages! ::)

I was literally just saying to a coworker today that I can't tell what is trolling and what is real anymore and cited that post about the make-up of their justice committee. I was trying to decide if it was real or if it was an appeal to ridicule.

I think that "Tim" and I agree. this is only going to get people begging government to protect them. And yes, usually it is the Republicans who will promise "law and order". I'm more of a libertarian and not usually a big fan of their idea of "law and order". But that is another debate...

Quote from: WOTR on June 12, 2020, 11:16:54 PM
Even if by some magik they manage to pull it off in Seattle, in Missouri and Montana the residents will watch this on television, think "that might come to our streets" and demand more protection (which is not protection but an extension to the violent arm of the government and corporate masters.)

Trump issues some Executive Order on police. Democrats claim not enough. All predictable. As is that both Parties seek to Federalize police control and oversight. As predictable. Policing policies should be local and state issues except for criminality involved in legitimate Federal cases, like illegals, forgery, interstate commerce, terrorism, insurrection, etc. Local and State taxes pay for much of the police, so they should be under state and local control. And they don't, for the most part, need the hyper-militarization promoted under the past few administrations as a way to get rid of excess military inventories so that contractors can make more for the Government to buy.

David Icke may be a nut with his alien reptile stuff, but the problemâ€"reactionâ€"solution (PRS) approach has a lot of merit. It seems to be a favored MO of the powerful and social ruling elite to manipulate and shape public opinion with the intention of gaining approval for the implementation of societal controls. Especially with the power crazed polticians and billionaire social engineers and their MSM lackies.

Do not know if there is any truth to this or not but interesting if it is.  Certainly not much activity on the scanner for ATL: https://www.broadcastify.com/webPlayer/30453

Seems like it is true.  Can things get any worse?

Guess it can't be too bad.  Watched some of this live stream and buses are running.  Can't be too much anarchy if the bus is on schedule.
Plus just saw a police cruiser.

I see Atlanta trying to knock Seattle off the front pages.  I'm afraid they are still playing house in there, nothing too exciting.  About the best I can offer is the proprietor's claim that the "No-Cop Co-op" is being looted.

Yes and no.. If you are wanting to do a "Robin Hood" recreation- then you should be using a recurve bow. Or for more damage, I might even allow a crossbow. I'm not really a fan of his choice of weapon given how much more he could have communicated as "robin Hood" rather than the "PSE dream season" spokesman.

Ha!  At first, I thought I was reading a letter from a Home Owners Association (HOA) manager.

I should have known, this being bellgab, that some ardent prig of a bow nut would pop up to piss all over my naive commentary.   >:(  I haven't been this set upon since I ventured a few words in praise of the Brewster Buffalo in the old warbirds thread.

I thought that Garth Brooks was good with his song "we shall be free" decades back. Of course, it seems like BLM and their ilk want to change the lyrics.

Now it should be:

"When the first thing we notice is the colour of skin
and the last thing we look for is the beauty within..."

I mean, we should look to see if your black so that we know how to treat you and can recognize your oppression. Screw who you are inside. That is not the most important part.

"when this world's big enough for only my views"
Sure seems like you can't disagree anymore. In Canada today Jagmeet put a motion to declare systemic racism in the RCMP up for a vote in parliment. A bolc member disagreed and was immediately called a racist. Jagmeet would not apologize and was booted from the house for the day.

"when only whites walk a step behind..."

Well, I'm done. The whole thing should be rewritten to reflect this modern idea of equality and anti racism where we need to look at race first.

You know...

I mean, if he were going for the "mad max" thing it would work. I just feel that this should be about respiration and that is more of a "Robin Hood" vibe. (Also, it's a minivan ???.) The video was not clear enough. If the fetches on his arrows were either "rainbow inclusive" or all black he may be onto something. I just need something to tie everything together so it feels cohesive.

*I have a pink release for my bow. I bought it in hot pink specifically to piss certain people off. It worked.  8)

It does have that tone.  Since looting has become a racially loaded term, it's time for a great unwieldy meaningless acronym.  I want to get on the board first with tactical withdrawal of early reparation payments.

I must say, between your bow and your beer hat you do cut quite a dashing figure!

So the movable barricades have been replaced by cement ones?  As in those big heavy things?  How does the rubbish truck get in there?  Or do they not pay for that anymore and it just builds up?   More questions than answers............

Oh that was a whole big drama I have spared you guys.  The city negotiated access, one-way in most cases, and helped them set up barriers covered with plywood sleeves, provided by the city and set up by city maintenance workers, primed  for artists to decorate.  There were complaints that the first round of "art" was mostly white women with questionable taste and a call was issued for artists of color and presumably some accreditation to report for duty.  It's like a rapid gentrification program.

The one-way access can be blocked with protesters' trucks if they want.  It's mostly to guard against car attacks since they were spooked by that one incident that is still murky.

Here is an interesting writeup describing a self-policing operation (there's video of this out there) from a local conservative talk-radio guy:  https://mynorthwest.com/1959063/rantz-seattle-chop-arsonist-arrested-weapons-found/

QuoteIt appears that some of the CHOP protesters may have been attempting their own investigation into the break-in. This is, of course, dangerous. The “security” members for CHOP are not trained.

The crowd “forcibly detained the suspect, forcibly [searching] both his backpack and his person and did not allow him to leave,” according to the police report.

The crowd returned property belonging to the owner that was found on Hanks. But then their self-policing turned violent.

The police report states “eventually a member of the crowd assaulted the suspect, repeatedly punching him in the face.” When a brawl broke out, the suspect escaped.

Heh, heh ... the game may change, but people remain the same. ;)

Not in my neighborhood, baby!

The most important question is is #CHOP allowing city maintenance workers fand trucks or recycling into the autonomous area or recycling themselves? And are they properly separating recyclables?

"Hanks was attempting to set a desk on fire. He was using a cassette tape and possibly liquid hand sanitizer."

They have really potentialized little revolutionaries by providing all of us with masks and mini molotov cocktails in our pockets, as well as widely distributed in common areas.  The recommended 140-proof will burn with a nice comparatively low-risk blue flame, suitable for flaming Mexican coffees and Christmas puddings.

Don't mess with that stuff man.  Did you see that guy that toasted himself burning up that police cruiser?   Things of nightmares.

Ah.  How nice.  Thanks for the info. How nice of the city to make all that happen.   Still more questions than answers though.

Presumably folks actually had residences in that area before the secession.   So are there property taxes pro-rated from Jan 1 up until independence day?
Can they get their vehicles in and out on this 1 way thoroughfare?   I also assume there were little shops and stores so does the city give them a subsidy to make up for the loss of revenue?  Or is that not really an issue.  Based on Gut Guy, Old Guy, Narc Guy and Senda Chili Dog guy it looks like there is plenty of foot traffic from the outside.
