I'm resurrecting this thread because I'm in need of some book recommendations. Anyone read anything decent lately?

Does anyone know what he makes a year, or per contract?

I heard one was spotted in Beaverton about 20 years ago...
Do you have a link for that? I can't really find anything. I'm on the border of Beaverton and Hillsburrito.

That particular section may have been edited, but it should be noted that George Noory has been known to cut himself off when he speaks. I have noticed several times that he trails off, or abruptly ends a word and starts a new sentence immediately.

If you listen enough you will notice it, too. It's very annoying. It's bad enough to hear a conversation between two people who cut each other off; for someone to do it to themselves is insane.

I was listening to an old C2C show from 1997 when Linda Moldy Bowel was on and she actually sounded pretty good. Not like the modern incarnation of Linda Molten Howl.
Moldy Bowel... That's the best nickname I have seen for her. Also, I heard an old Somewhere in Time with her on it and I didn't even recognize her voice. Something happened to her throat in recent years.

... What a tangled web, indeed.

I wonder if that's what goes on in the Bermuda Triangle?
#38
I would listen, but only if it were hosted by Ian. He handles offbeat news stories really well.

If your gut tells you it was a sign, I would go with it. I think most communications with the dead are slightly convoluted; not necessarily an in-your-face sign or apparation, etc. Especially if the new occupant of your former house isn't someone you speak to on a regular basis.

Thank you for posting your story. Welcome to the board!

They should really consider marketing it as a weight loss supplement. Get in all your daily exercising without even having to wake up! So long as the most commonly reported side-effect -- nighttime binge eating -- doesn't kick in.

You get killer calves.

I have read about some scary side-effects from using Ambien. Like going rollerblading around an apartment complex at 3AM for a week with no recollection. Then again, that might be considered a bonus for some people.

I used to do the same thing. For all his faults, George definitely has a soothing voice that puts you straight to sleep. Provided you keep it low enough that you can't hear his mispronunciations.

How many times does George have to tell you -- it's synchronicity. Semantics, people.

When it comes to pain medication, I agree with you.

Sent from my DROIDX
I was going to say that, too.

Also, plenty of people harass their doctors into giving them prescriptions for medication they see advertised on TV, so it goes both ways. Yes, doctors have the final say over what they prescribe, but when dealing with angry patients all day sometimes it's easier to cave.

All the bars here are full of hipster in non-prescription eyeglasses, plaid shirts and beards. And they drink Pabst Blue Ribbon to be ironic.

The key to a successful marriage?  Always be asking yourself... "How can I make my spouse's life better today?"

Nailed it.

Anagrammy, your posts are a work of art. You definitely have a fan here.

I like Body of Proof so far. It's fast-paced and sassy.

HAL - Dana Delany stars in it and looks as beautiful as ever. You might wanna check it out.

A lot of employers check you out on Facebook, but if your settings are private, I'm not sure how much information they can get. If those posts from Fort Rock were found just by a name search, he would be screwed.

Granted it's not the best there is, but I'm pretty sure all straight males have used at least some of the tactics described on that site. I wasn't implying to follow the advice of that blog verbatim, but rather use it as a springboard to form your own ideas & methods.

I'm blessed with a sliver tongue so it comes pretty easy for me.  :o That and the fact I have a habit of wearing nothing but band shirts helps too. LOL

Then, to me, it sounds like you are just being yourself, which is what women will be attracted to. And I get that you meant to use those tips as a generality; I guess I was referring more to the general website and topics.

People who write those kinds of blog posts reek of insecurity and self-loathing. They're the type of guys who are always sitting on the sidelines and seething because no one is paying them attention. So they make up these games about how to ensnare a woman. They think it works because they cast such a wide net that they're sure to catch something, but it just further feeds their ego that their silly manipulations are working.

And they say women like to play games. ;)

Give Alex a break, he's actually uncovering lots of truths, like mamograms actual accelerate cancer, and mecury perseveratives in vaccines hurt you.

He's a little wild but at least he is trying to keep you kids from becoming diesesed.

From the CDC:
There is no convincing evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.

and as far as children go, from the FDA:
Thimerosal has been removed from or reduced to trace amounts in all vaccines routinely recommended for children 6 years of age and younger, with the exception of inactivated influenza vaccine.

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/Concerns/thimerosal/index.html

http://www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodVaccines/SafetyAvailability/VaccineSafety/UCM096228

I found nothing that says mammograms may accelerate breast cancer. Did you mean morphine?

http://www.healthcentral.com/breast-cancer/news-418305-98.html

That's just from a basic search, but there is plenty of data to back it up if you would like to do your own research. Consider Alex Jones' agenda before you take his word for gospel.

What a sad little website. Here's an idea for getting laid: start treating women like people, not pussy, and you will get a better response.

As for Fort Rock, he is the one who typed those posts on the interwebs -- it's his own damn fault if it comes back to haunt him via pre-employment screening or everyday cyber stalking. He put all that out there himself. If he hasn't learned that lesson by now, there's no hope.
