Hmmmm....if you are ever in San Francisco, DO NOT CALL IT FRISCO!  Locals become very insulted by that.

I've heard that, not that I was tempted to say it...

Should've moved there when I had the chance.  Eh, maybe not.

I hope this mitd inspires Hoagie to get a parrot for his show/ship.

Why, you can just listen for his sweaty naked flesh peeling off his bean-bag chair. Did you know he does his show wearing only a bolo tie?

This is so darn cool, starrmtn! Thank you!
You're very welcome Nancy.  It's free to download and print.  I have a copy.

The birds chirping have gone from pleasant to annoying.

That bird chirping has to be driving Art nuts!  ;D ;D ;D

I bet he likes it, it's cool that the audio quality is this good.

Catsmile

Some of you folks need better speakers or headphones. It's a frog not a bird.

I lived there for many years for college and my 20's. It is a wonderful place to live when you are young. But even rental prices are now so high that I could not afford to live there now.

Thanks, Chan. I wasn't going to say anything. Let 'em call it 'Frisco', I say. Adds to the whole touristy charm.

Also: Frisco is a place in Texas.

Has anybody read Art's book, "The Art of Talk"?  Just bought it.

Not disputing whether it happened, but I don't think an 11.0 is even possible.  I doubt it would be survivable even if it did actually happen.  What was the name of the location it happened?

The New Madrid earthquakes were only ~8.1 (estimated).

If it is, don't tell the crazy religious terrorists or they'll blow it up so it kills all the sinners/infidels up in the Bay Area!

GeoNemesis

Got my windows open while listening, and it's fun hearing the frogs in Hawaii at the same time as the insect & frog sounds from my backyard.

Depends on your measuring devices.

Some of them do go up to 11, which is 10+, eh?

When I lived in Green Valley Ranch/Henderson, Nevada, there was an autographed copy of Art of Talk for $1.  This was before Ramona died.  I think about not getting it.   Wonder how much on eBay?  [googling now]

Whenever I'm in a taxi, if I say to the driver, "We need an earthquake and then the price of rent will go down," they always agree. They know how fast people left the Bay Area after Loma Prieta. All the new people who've moved here to work in the tech industry have no idea what they're in for.
