I don't have time to read through this entire thread at the moment, but I do agree that Art will be back as a pod cast.   He loves this too much, and if he charges for it, I am willing to bet you if you send him a copy of your receipt for your Sirius subscription, he'll waive fees for some period of time.    He's not stupid.  He knows exactly what he's doing and how far he can push everyone.   He'll be back, and the show will be better than ever.   Just fucking stop calling Jaz, you're making the show look small

Just so you know what kind of a f*cking week I'm having - over the weekend my dad got in an accident that caused severe head trauma, which resulted in severe brain hemorrhaging. They've been trying to drain the blood, but meanwhile he's like . . . I don't know, a childlike vegetable now and they're warning us that the brain damage is probably going to be bad. So I've had a hellish past three days at the hospital.

Sirius can't move that fast.  If he is still listed, Sirius might not even know Art's intentions.

Well, I was willing to remain optimisitc until reading Art's reply to Bateman. I'm sorry, but what a crock of shit. He mentioned many times that Sirius brought a whole new audience with it. I think it was something like 27 million potential new listeners? And I do even remember someone calling into the show saying they had just discovered Art Bell through Sirius ads for the show and were getting into it. But he decides to throw in the towel because more truckers can't call in? Art, that's what Coast is for! You didn't need to fight for your old listeners, we've been here all along. You should have focused on getting new ones, and that takes time.

Its quite possible that there is just an influx of emails coming in with similar wording, which has triggered his spam-filtering service to start rejecting emails.
