Yes, I was thinking the same thing but wouldn't say it for some reason. I'm glad you did. It had to be said. Art, we all need to learn to ignore the negative and focus on the positive more. It's a good prescription!

I saw somebody who said I only care about myself and not the listeners who were with me for Decades, nothing could be further from the truth, I will take to my grave the connection I have felt for those who spent countless late nights with me and were loyal to a fault. Without the support of those of you who loved the show as I loved doing it there would have been no show. I was never in this for the money, not ever, I was in it for the love of doing it, the subjects covered and the joy it brought to those who listened.

During my brief misadventure on Sirius, I did come to like the "Deep Tracks" station.  So nice to hear alternatives to the same old obvious picks.

I used to have Sirius in my car. In order to expand my horizons I decided to listen to every channel for at least 10 minutes. Well I picked up a young hitchhiker while I was on the ten minutes of some speed metal. Suffice it to say he was a bit freaked out. lol This was in West Virginia.

Art we knew and know it.  That is what separated you from all the other talk show hosts.  I for one, enjoy listening to you not only for the topics you discuss, but because of who you are.   You have a unique life experience,and you offer a real alternative to main stream media.  Because you are independent, the listener like myself knows that you are speaking your truth.  That is such a rare thing these days.  You have and do touch many hearts Art.  You chose to share your personal life with us.  I for one am grateful.  Please, if able, continue to share that unique gift you have with us.

Hey Art-- try a podcast.  Pretty low commitment & can be recorded whenever you feel like it.

Whether by accident or not ... it doesn't really matter, George now has a show that appeals to a larger cross-section of listeners.
He's branched out into other subjects .... has variety, good week-end hosts, and has actually improved his own presentation a little bit.

So I'm not the only one who's noticed this trend.

Sure, it'd be great to have more Art Bell, but an improved C2C where GN no longer S is almost as good.

Commercial free stations are run by non-profits such as colleges, churches, or low power community groups.  The overhead is low as the staff are volunteers, and expenses are covered through donations.
