Ok I'll say the story. I had just watched the movie when I joined this site and I really liked her in it so I decided to make her my avatar. I didn't even know her name until someone here asked and someone else answered.

No.  I usually keep these things private.  I share stuff like this, usually, with close friends.  There is no way my telling my stories could persuade those here, nor should it.  People who are simple minded cult members tend to believe on someone else's word.  I respect you too much to think you'd do that.

One of the posters here recommended WMFU about 4 years ago-I think its a fun station with all kinds of oddities. I listen for a few hours every week. I've never tried WBAI, will listen this week-any recommendations for shows on that station?

We have CKUA... They have a number of different shows that are pretty good (and some real clunkers.)  Very few hosts that I would consider excellent- but there are a couple.  For instance, Holger Peterson hosts his blues program Saturdays... (Other Canadians may recognize him from the CBC's blues party as well- but he was with CKUA first...

It has operated since 1927, and since 1994 has been "listener supported radio".
