Just saw this posted on Art's FB Page. Well done Jazzy this is just a perfect tribute to Open Lines leading into Art's Open Lines test on Sunday. Kudos and thanks for all these videos.

Edit: On second watch I noticed your little surprise at the end. I won't spoil it but it's cool. ha ha.

Thank you all. Open Lines are my favourite. Especially the Special Line Open Lines. I thought it was fitting to put this one last considering that the test night is an Open Lines night.

The universe doesn't run on compassion. The basic philosophy of nature is murder, fornication and chaos. Animals eat animals, birds eat bugs, bacteria eat humans and we all breed like rabbits. That's all we're here to do. It's all about murder and sex. And that makes your philosophy an unviable and unnatural expectation of humanity. We evolved to gig mammoths and fight between our clans for survival, not to become a peaceful collective singing kumbaya while a koala flies overhead barfing rainbows. I'm not saying that violence is good, but absolute non-violence just gets you eaten.

So . . . how about that Hoagland? I can't wait to hear what he says about Dave and the big break up.

;D ;D ;D Lol that was fucking awesome!

I don't even know how I found that post I was just skipping around reading Art Bell posts in the lead up to the pending show...

So Jazmunda had to stick himself into the butt end of the video!  ???

Great video! I just hope you clipped your nails!

Well I thought after 10 trailers I deserved a bit of air time.  ;)

I didn't have it in there initially but when I listened to the gerbil caller and then Art throws straight to the International Line I thought hmmmmmmm who do I know that's an International Line caller.  :P

Celestial

OOOOOOOOH! Love that latest trailer. Loved the little surprise at the end too. Awesome!

What would Open Lines be without a few "turn down your radio" bits? :)

I discussed this with Saucy Rossy and depending on if I can find the right videos I might do a few short ones. If I can edit myself which is the hardest thing to do.

Jazz, thank you for the latest and ALL of them! The effort everybody has put in has been really awesome. I have several Interviews lined up with Radio Magazines and Talk Shows, so I have been a pretty busy guy as well.

Again, I guess this is the final push and to be honest I think it will be a rest to sit down and JUST do the show.

I have said it before, if we start small it will suit me just fine, there is just one reason for me to do this and it is simple, FUN.

JAZ THE MUNDA!  You are right.  This is my favorite.  Thank you for making this!  The music is perfect.  Especially loved that you got Evelyn Paglini's first call in there.

That's in the deleted scenes. You'll have to buy the Special Edition Blu Ray.

Lol. cute.

Yeah Jazz, maybe on your next video, you can put in the soundbyte of when George Senda called in to Art and kept mentioning the city of "Martinez" and Art kept getting mad at him telling him not to say his last name. Lol

Maybe your next trailer can be a funny one with funny soundbytes from Art's past shows and include Falkie's soundbyte.

Yes, this video also was my favorite.

jaz, You are on a roll, keep it going.

Very Alfred Hitchcock of you, verbally speaking! This is a GREAT trailer, perfect in every way. I cracked up at the gerbil caller. Well, apart from the antichrists and aliens, he was my favorite caller of all time. So glad he made the cut!

I don't know, Jaz, I think maybe a career change is in order?  ;)

That trailer is awesome, Jaz!

Love the cool ending.

slippingaway

"Hi Art, how are you?" Everyone asks, even though the caller directly before asked.  I wonder how many times Art has been asked that question in his career.  That's 4 seconds per caller. Let's say he hears it 30 times a night. At at 30x 5 nights a week, 50 weeks (vacations) for 20 years. If those guestimates hold true, Art would have been asked that 150,000 times and it would have wasted 10,000 minutes of air time. That's 166.66 hours of pleasentries.

...That being said, the first thing out of my mouth when I hear that static/cut to live will probably be, "Hi Art, how are you."

I read, think in Art of Talk, that Art's heart starts racing every single time before he goes on the air.  I imagine that's the same feeling that I get every time I've gotten when I've called and it actually rings.

If my girlfriend could make my heart race like that, I'd marry her  :)

Oh and Jaz, your promos are amazing. My piddly little attempt was good in concept, but failed to deliver.  I blame my choice of software, laregly. Windows Live movie maker is kinda weak-sauce.
