Unfortunately, I can't find those issues ... but one of the articles was about the Global Consciousness Project, and how the events of 9/11 were detected before the event occurred, and the other was a comparison between how intention was used on hurricanes Lilli and Charlie.

Welcome!  One of my favorite topics.  At the beginning of the Dean Radin interview, Art twice said, "This is the single most fascinating topic I've ever discussed on the air!"

I hope he plans to revisit the subject on MITD.

If the Princeton egg thing is legit then it really is fascinating. Especially the spikes prior to 9/11.

That was interesting. I am not sure I buy into the concept though.

The Princeton Egg study is only one (and perhaps the best known) example of research into Global Consciousness.  Inherently GC is a difficult subject to quantify, acceptance from the scientific community has been elusive.  Just because it's not proven, doesn't mean it's not worthy of continued investigation.

Isn't the Princeton egg data only evaluated after an event happens?  That seems a little too subjective to be scientifically valid.  Or am I mistaken about that?

Just saw this posted on Art's FB Page. Well done Jazzy this is just a perfect tribute to Open Lines leading into Art's Open Lines test on Sunday. Kudos and thanks for all these videos.

Edit: On second watch I noticed your little surprise at the end. I won't spoil it but it's cool. ha ha.

Jazmunda my Aussie brother I commend you on another excellent trailer. Like a trip down memory lane. I remember a lot of these shows.

You can actually see everything happening in real time.

In fact, there used to be something called, "The GCP Dot," which would change colors when something was going on to match the incoming data to the EGGs (that's "Electronic GaiaGram" for the curious). I put up a page on my website to track the dot, but unfortunately there was some sort of problem with it, so it's down right now, but you can still see what the colors mean if it was working:

I think the Dot has been down for about a year now.

I think I recall one time on Art's show the audience was invited to try to influence the data.

Finally accepted Georges invitation to be on Coast? ;D

I think you must be referring to George's distant cousin in France, Georges Nouri, who hosts a paranormal talk show from Grenoble called 'Things That Go Bump in the Night' (pronounce 'Bump' with as much Clouseauesque emphasis as you can).

He sucks too.

Yes, at least a few times. Then Art said he was afraid of using it again because of unintended results.

A few months ago Dave tried to lessen the water shortages in California by making it rain on a day in which the forecast called for widespread rain in the drought regions. A funny thing occurred, it didn't rain.

He also got the audience to send out positive thoughts to Hoagland after his heart attack. Of course these powers could used for good or evil. Watch out, Dave!

The only time Dave's made it rain is in a strip club.

It's true. This time has a vibe that's very different. It feels very entrepreneurial, something akin to the 90's when Art was trailblazing internet/radio interactivity. It also feels very grass roots because, well, it has been because of Bellgab and Art's interaction with us. All the right mix. I'm freaking stoked.

Very true.  This time around fits more the maverick spirit that lies not very well hidden in Art's soul.

It would be interesting to hear an update on the Global Consciousness Project, which began in 1998 using the computer interface of that era (including 9/11, 2001).  Has today's technology, specifically, smartphones, with the wide and immediate exchange of global news and information been a factor--i.e., is our Global Consciousness increasingly more desensitized?

I've also read the name derived from Electroencephalogram (EEG), and Gaia.

Interestingly, the man who recorded the first human EEG, Hans Berger, was profoundly affected by a personal telepathic experience.  Thus, his initial interest and experiments were in parapsychology, but his work subsequently lead to the discovery of the EEG, a revolutionary tool for Neuroscience.

"His central theme became “the search for the correlation between objective activity in the brain and subjective psychic phenomena”." (Wikipedia)

There are no koinshudinshus. Dave couldn't piss on his own foot... even if Tommee was aiming it for him.

JazzyMunda! Smiles all through this one. Loved the soothing driving background music and the wonderful dials and sliders and voice delivery systems. Such a big smile at the end. It's been an amazing ride, and this is very well done.

Hey Art

I was just wondering, in all the years you have been doing radio be it legal or illegal radio what period did you have the most fun?

In other words did you have more fun broadcasting a pirate radio station at Amarillo Air Force base or was it more fun when you was with the CBC or clear channel or was their a time as a dj that you had the most fun?

I long for the day when Art goes on the air with Midnight in the Desert and tells us the heart breaking news that c2c is losing listeners and says those immortal words " looks like dave is winding down folks, hes winding down".

Very cool.  I'm sure Art will come up with something creative to convey this to the audience.  He seems to have that knack to say the right thing at the right time.
