Maybe your contact can do a little digging and find out why your account was locked. The signs point overwhelmingly to accusations that it's a fake account. If that's the case, it's pretty obvious who's behind it.

I think you have to register yourself as a public figure to avoid all those problems.

Frustrating! I never gotten into FB or social media, but I guess it is necessary for a show or person these days. Some people were talking about "personal" versus "business" pages or some crap? Keith's Art Bell page has been up but yours- no dice. I hope it works out. Isn't Dr.J a lawyer? Maybe even just a few letters could help?
But the SHOW and your talent will win. FB, Reddit, etc are good, I guess, and the youtubes made and word-of-mouth are excellent- but the show will spread the word even better. I can't wait!

I haven't even been able to read much of the AMA. Had a major Windows 7 crash today, couldn't get it back up and had to switch over to an old computer. Main thing is I'm back up and able to get onto BellGab.

Art hit it out of the ballpark. The "Don't go towards the light" comment and the UFO story are gold on that site. Plus Art spent 3 hours there instead of one which those people appreciate. He answered a lot of diverse questions and didn't endlessly plug himself and came across as the guy people heard on the air. He just broke 500.

Couldn't have done a better job Art. Word of mouth on the internet will be cranking.

It's getting to the point where you can't contact any organisation via the phone anymore and speak to a real person. 

I hope that when I call in to Midnight in the Desert I don't get a recording saying "Your call is important to us. To report a UFO sighting, Press 1, To report a Ghost sighting, Press 2. To report a Bigfoot sighting press 3. For all other sightings, Press 9. If you are JC please hold and leave a brief and angry message."

Well, it pissed me off big time.  Art is the second friend on FB this has happened to recently.  My other friend just started another page with a bit of a change to her name.  I think she used that page for about 5 days before she got her original page back.  All it takes is one person reporting the page for some reason and you're in FB hell.

I don't think any person has been able to contact FB by phone for years and years.  One of the most frustrating things about the stoopid site.

I can't wait to read the entire AMA. Sounds like that 500 number could turn into the thousands if it keeps increasing geometrically, as it seems to be doing. From a Blitz standpoint, looks like this Reddit thing was an excellent move!

I think it was a good move as well. Which only underlines this whole Facebook fiasco and potentially the damage it caused. With Art not being able to inform his facebook 'friends' and over 25k followers that really hurt him, even though it was a success and continues to rise. It could have reached more people a lot sooner causing a ripple effect.
