Tucker the other night was somewhat ranting about guilt but I think he got it wrong, at least theological in most (at least until now) Biblical interpretations, Where at least Denominations most hold that sin is inherited, at least the Original one.  And even more frequently mentioned in the Old Testament about iniquity cast upon the children, sins of the father on their sons, and what-not.

And as predicted:

I'm moving to the first state to secede.

I'm moving to the first state to secede.
I think this planned Balkanization will result in something that 'they' have already planned for. At least for a first step. Once their lumpenproletariat, native and illegal, do enough damage and violent crimes many citizens will just clamor for safety and help; regardless of how enforced. Stability and so-called safety will be considered worth whatever price. Even possibly non-US 'police actions' to help 'stabilize' and 'rescue' the people. There might be different outcomes, secession ideas, etc but many of those areas are already flooded with illegals with no allegiance- or even knowledge- of the country or by the native enemies within and with the technocratic state abilities and balance of power so weighted I'm not sure what secession could be accomplished besides a guerilla campaign which would result on even more 'crack downs' or outside interference- or just another power seizing the moment for a true invasion and take-over. Even in the military you see foreigners, those of questionable backgrounds, lowering of standards, divided loyalties, and shattered people due to bad wars, multiple deployments, and confusing/bad ROEs. Which side will they be on? Most are still likely 'good guys' but who knows when it really hits the fan?

NM will go with AZ and CA...no doubt.

Freaking unbelievable.

"Seattle ‘autonomous zone’ has armed guards, local businesses threatened with extortion"

The official also added that leaders in the anti-cop zone are “starting to extort money from the local businesses within the border for ‘protection.'” Mckenzie Diamond, who lives in the “Autonomous Zone,” told Kiro 7 the experience has been “a bit stressful.”

Good to see the Seattle mayor must be an escapee from clown world.

I keep wondering... If you can't call the police, the fire department will not respond, the trash is not picked up, and the street sweepers don't go down your avenue anymore: Are you still required to pay taxes?

I'm telling you that I would actually take the city to court to return my property tax as it is (apparently) no longer located in Seattle...

I am hereby authorized to offer you The "province" of Toronto in exchange for Alaska. Unofficially, I can add the moral wasteland and political swamp of Ottawa to sweeten the deal.

Haha enjoy your Fox fear porn while it lasts.  It's mostly old hippies and fat actiivists sitting around listening to endless speeches waiting for their chance on the aptly named bullhorn.  I don't know where all the cute ones went.  And some street art.

So, in essence it is "occupy wallstreet part II?" Please tell me that they have tents in the public park for when it rains.

No.  Alaska is my SHTF retreat since half my family lives there.  You all will come in with your butter tarts and double doubles and turn it into Winnipeg.

Yes there are tents, and quite a few businesses in the area (mostly bars and restaurants which are closed) are offering the use of their facilities.  We've seen all this before.  They will get tired and go away and leave a mess.

The Seattle police have been under federal oversight for years ever since some officer shot an Indian guy with a small knife in a clear case of panic and overreaction so people here are skeptical, and their heavy-handed response to the protests -- ill-considered and arbitrary shoving matches over which streets they could march down that were basically kids fighting in the back seat of a car with tear gas and grenades -- might make people like albrecht happy but it didn't help matters.

It's ridiculous nobody can say who ordered the abandonment of that precinct but I suspect it was cooler heads actually in the police lines who took matters into their own hands to try to defuse things.  So far, it worked.

Marx theorized that large cities were counterproductive to the collective...small autonomous communities would achieve collective utopia...

Regardless of communism or capitalism...sounds like that was a pretty good idea.

I will note in passing mention that a lot of the FEMA Regions I see referenced on various sites and news no longer use the Roman Numerals. Sign of the Times? Officially they still do use Roman Numerals for the regions -and why the heck is my new capital in Denton!?-  but in many of even the FEMA pages they 'make it easier' to understand and just use 1,2,3,....which is a risky assumption because even basic numbers might not be understood and is, likely, racist if combined as in math.

Dang. There goes my plan to smuggle super-cheap Mexican vodka as a 'way in' to the Old Believer Russian fishing communities in Alaska. I had figured they'd be pretty much self-autonomous and virus/GentleGiant free and a good place to bug-out. And when I explained Oso Negro means "black bear" the varnish quality of the vodka would be accepted. Or used as fuel for two-stroke engines in Salmon fishing.

Oh they are already autonomous creepy fucks who are generally left alone.  You'd probably have to marry somebody's obese halfwit daughter to be accepted, though.

These aspersions and personal attacks!  ;) I don't do that. But whatever. The "Indian" you mention. Native American or curry type? Or possibly a Sikh with a kirpan? I always liked that idea. "Hey, it is my religion to carry." The other side of your state has had issues, Spokane cops had some crazy stuff in the past years. Shooting a school teacher in her own yard. A retarded guy going for a Pepsi. Shot and killed a Pastor in his 70's because they thought he was a prowler. Lawsuits but no looting and burning, because only BLM for that, I guess? Nobody wants bad cops and, as history of post proved, I don't like the militarization of the police or asset forfeiture laws. But also think it is crazy to have no police or not allow them to crack down sometimes.

The Scandinavian utopia of Norway before WWII had limited their standing Army to the point it was merely a small police force. The goal was a police and military free society...a new standard for the world...

Hitler conquered them in two weeks.

So, for the Scandinavians...getting raped by Hitler is moral...defending against Hitler is immoral...

Let that sink in.

Ugh. I was hoping more of the undiscovered Russian-model type daughters, what with the clean-living, fish eating, and fresh air. Dashing my bug-out ideas....

Norway was a very poor and mainly rural country back then. This was before the hydrocarbon reserves made them rich. Fishing and shipping but still rough. Heck back then they were even a recently new country by world standards, with conflicting language spellings, and regions. A far cry from the Viking Days or the power of today, in terms of economy versus size. But you are right in smaller communities, and better yet ones that are homogeneous, socialism can work. And add a nice, fat, sovereign fund to the mix. The only problems that can happen is immigration, war, or joining up with almost failed states. Or from enemies inside. Having said that there was great resistance and such during the Occupation.

Oh I have a good memory and I pay attention -- you have an appetite for casual brutality as social control, all the way down to picking on kids that don't conform.  But mostly I am teasing, and like it when you clarify points.

It was a native guy.  We have a lot of native alcoholic bums and have for at least a century since they had laws that made them leave town at night.  Lots of small reservations close to big cities.  Typical post-mortem hagiography you would appreciate where the knife he was shot for was used for traditional woodcarving.

I get what you are saying about the militarization of police and, to the extent that police always seem to have hot new cars with designer decals and plenty of overtime parked end-to-end jawing through the windows and eating donuts, I can back the defund-the-police part; they clearly have too much money.  There were plenty of shiny police buses and ominous black-painted military-looking vehicles in town this week that had no business being seen when all they were doing is playing stupid you-shall-not-pass games like children.

I like politeness. I think causal is the "way to go." And just be nice to people. Say hello, Tip your hat, Open a door. Social mores and customs. Not beat downs or violence. But "causal." And I'm not against, actually advocate- within limits- shame and hazing, depending on the age and situation. We need more of this. Social Cohesion. Rights of Passage. Confirmations of Belief. Hey, call it Solidarity even! But clearly defined and not abused and appropriated to level of age and level. But not the Cancel Culture or brain a guy with a skateboard variety, but basics of Western Civilization, fair play, and Christendom.

Maybe I can get you on board if I say "shame the fatties?"

Your argument does not address the fact they didn't have a national defense strategy...just, "they were poor then, but wealthy before and after," ...tsk tsk...bad argument...the Fins fought hard against the Soviets at least.
