Well, doing it directly from his website might be a mistake. If there was a way he could have a central feed go out into multiple other sites with their own servers, that would divide the bandwidth drain. Art if you're reading this, mine has died and hasn't come back on after multiple attempts to re-load.

First digit is Readability:  1-5, with 5 being "perfectly readable".  Second digit is Signal Strength:  1-9, with 9 being "extremely strong signal".  5 by 9 is the best signal possible.

Access through Safari on iOS has been flawless.  Fast buff and no drops or flutters.

download vlc or something like that if you're having issues.

not gunna lie, using las vegas approach as a test stream might not be the best way to test for drops haha

regardless, its cool to see that things are moving again for the show.


Edit: googling the ip address of the stream https://www.google.com/#q=50.7.77.114 reveals that there are many other streams being hosted by this server. It appears they testing out a streaming company, not rolling their own setup, at least for this test.

I remember you saying you have an iphone. Download the Shoutcast app and manually enter http://live.artbell.com:8303/stream. It'll buffer for about 10 - 15 seconds and then play.

I have one too - couldn't figure out Shoutcast but if you have an iphone, type the URL into Safari and it works! opens and streams clear as day

Try a media player like vlc, winamp, or what-have-you.  Is working great.

You guys having trouble with the stream should also try different players. Such as winamp, windows media player, VLC etc.
