I very like Art Bell shows but 1.5 months into his new show he quits.  What happens if this live stream idea doesn't pan out due to low Listening Base.. then what - he'll quit again?  Lots of C-Cran gadgets suddenly appearing on EBay!!

We've already had "Art Bell Quits.. coast", "Art Bell quits Dark Matter", how long until "Art Bell quits again"?  Maybe at that point it should be time for "Art Bell retires".

Kinda sucks because just when I get interested in a flight ... it lands and I have to find a new flight to tweak my interest...

it will probably be a while before Art comes back, assuming he IS.

though, doing a show tomorrow and explaining what we can expect in the future makes sense, and it would put our minds at ease, if only temporarily.

Since I listen most often to the on demand shows I would continue to tune in through the Sirius/XM method

If Art were to be an independent broadcaster, I'm not sure if SiriusXm would have the shows on demand. You'd be able to rewind back 5 hours but Art/Keith would likely have to provide archives themselves. I'm just guessing, I believe this is the situation with Glenn Beck.

Just think...in the air, in a tower...wherever...they're broadcasting. Then Art sucks up the signal and pipes it through the internets and...voila...here I am...in my skivies, in my bed, staring at the soft glow of my laptop listening to it. All the while reading this thread. It's times like this that I really enjoy living in our day and age.
