PROOF that the MSM plants shills at Town Halls, Debates and Rallies to (ineffectively) try and stump the TRUMP!

Great post.  If Sanders people had been caught in similar frauds, the MSM would even pre-empt their non-stop Trump dogpile to get the news out. The elites think they're getting away with something.  The people know it's a set-up.  The pundits and reporters are likely to get a shock come July.  Trump now has a seasoned pro planning the convention strategy.

Sir. Are you trying to imply there are reporters, journalists and entire news networks that aren't (gasp) Fair and Balanced? *snicker*

As a Bernie Sanders supporter #bernieorbust I see them doing the same to Trump. I think it shows how scared the so called establishment is when it comes to Sanders/Trump. How they are doing everything and anything to stop them. I also find it funny how it seems to be backfiring. Trump should get NY easy but I think Bernie Sanders has a hard road ahead. If they both when i can not wait to see the headlines!!1

What the hell are you talking about? The MSM is drooling all over trump`s cock on a daily basis. He`s already been the benefactor of over $2Billion of free advertising, courtesy of the dreaded MSM. FOX NEWS is basically TRUMP NEWS now, and MSNBC`s Morning Joe no longer even tries to hide their allegiance to Trump. And I haven`t even discussed conservative talk radio shilling for him.

Those who would not vote for Trump may be non-voters.
There should have been a question of whether they would vote for the opposing candidate just to prevent Trump from winning.

Yep.  Either way the establishment loses.  I would love to see that match.

I think Morning Joe tries to be fair to everyone.  They are just as nice to Bernie as to Donald, in my opinion.  Mika certainly is not enamored with various Trump positions.

Well as I see it they are trying to stop Trump. I might be mistaken but I pretty sure they are getting super packs for anti-Trump. Yes MSM has had him all over TV etc; but they portray him in a negative way!!1

LOL I have seen this before and I still laugh. I wish more people would look more into him as a candidate but MSM will not even bring up the name unless it is to say something negative. Just think if Hillary won the last seven states. In truth Bernie Sanders has won more states than Hillary if you count Iowa and Missouri a tie which the are. Also he might end up with Nevada before it is all done!!1

At least Bernie and Trump have knocked a scare into the establishment of both parties and perhaps given encouragement for some REAL alternate parties(ie, non-Libertarian).

The thing is, there has to be some real changes in the financing of the election process.  Both these men are proving that we are sick of money buying US elections.

My big problem with Sanders (I like him actually on some of the banking, finance, and his position on guns (he's backed off on that recently though) but he totally loses me on his immigration positions. Having lived in functioning "socialist countries" I can tell you that unfettered immigration and open-border policies can ruin, or at least become very costly, and even cause a backlash and elimination/change to socialist policies. Opening up the flood-gates overwhelms the system and especially to the uneducated, both in terms of literacy, language (even their own,) etc but also in appreciation/understanding of our history and principles and coming from even more corrupt nations they with their vote simply turn the USA into another Banana Republic and more corrupt than it currently is. Socialism, and maybe even a representative republic or democracy, without any shared values, commonly held mores and beliefs, similar cultural values, shared language and sense of community, will eventually collapse. But, of course, this could be the goal  ;)
At times I post comments after various articles.  I suspect that professional (government) posters take part in ongoing arguments on articles dealing with Muslim terrorists.  Nice, polite, folks who continually try to deflect a pithy comment into some side line issue.

I watched a special on tv concerning ISIS in the media.  Often one sees comments saying Muslims in a lot of European countries are poor (the claim is that they are not so here) and ghettoized and feel insignificant.  What was different is that one person said they are poor because the religion(at least their interpretation) forbids that they should get a job working under some female or a Jew.  I never thought of that, but it's a good point.

I heard some comment on the radio today that it's suspected that many Bernie voters are not friends of Israel.  Bernie says, and I believe, that he does not allow his religion to influence his position on the Israeli problem.

The interesting thing is that there are Ultra-Orthodox Jews who also do not support Israel.  THey see it as a purely political movement and according to their religion they will not have a homeland until after their Messiah comes.  They see the Israeli conflict as a cause for much negative feeling directed at Jews throughout the world.

You don't watch CNN or MSNBC do you?  If you did, you couldn't make that statement.  The MSM is so out of touch that they believe the public is shocked by Trump, when in fact most are pretty eager to hear someone finally calling for an end to the PC bullshit that the establishment always pumps up at election time to distract the ADD electorate.  Much the same with Sanders.  All while they utter nary a discouraging word about The Anointed One or HRHH.

Campaign finance reform is essential. Politicians spend an  inordinate amount of time raising money while they are in office. And of course then the congress and senators are working for the donors, not their constituents. We need to get monied interests, influence peddlers and lobbyists out of Washington. Bernie is the only one who even talks about this. He is very passionate on this subject. Reform Bills have been introduced (by Democrats) but always voted down (by a majority of Republicans and Tea Party and a few Democrats).
This has only worsened with the Citizens United decision (concur Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Kennedy, Alito)(dissent Stevens, Breyer, Ginsburg, Sotomayor)

The United States Supreme Court held (5â€"4) that the First Amendment prohibited the government from restricting independent political expenditures by a nonprofit corporation. The principles articulated by the Supreme Court in the case have also been extended to for-profit corporations, labor unions and other associations. By allowing unlimited election spending by individuals and corporations, the decision has "re-shaped the political landscape" of the United States.[2][3] - Wikipedia

Bottomline: Drumpf has absolutely zero chance of winning in November if he wins GOP nomination. Even Bernie Sanders crushes him by nearly 20points. Drumpf would represent the worst GOP candidate for president in the history of the party. And that's not even close.

Kids have no real debating skills these days. Now it's just a screaming match between various special interests taring the country apart while the rich watch from the balcony and talk about how to make money from the aftermath. This country's going down the tubes!  ::)

Yep. I know there are plenty of good, hardworking teachers but I blame the teachers, Hollywood, and parents and a society that rewards and praises incompetence, bad manners, scandal, weakness, deviance, and crudeness. How can those be the champions in a debate except due to affirmative action or social promotion, or pity?

I do admit my biological clock is ticking loudly but still working. Why do you think I've been stalking all the geniuses here? Genius babies. Hmm. Should be spending a lot more time on the Science thread and a lot less here.
And Sandra is a near decade younger than I am.

Anyone remember the Tea Party shout downs in the Town Halls? Those were not minority whippersnappers.

This is what happens when the public that supports these schools only pays attention to NCAA standings.  The worst part is that these mooks are expected to earn enough to keep my SS checks coming.  We are soooooo fucked.  ::)

One can visit the comment section of pretty much any news site or political blog and see the fine, semi-literate older crowd in all their paranoid, delusional glory. The commenters at Breitbart, for example - utterly insane and lost in the trees.

Whether you're talking about Tea Party supporters, BLM supporters, Trump supporters or any other group of people which includes a sizeable portion of belligerant, misinformed hotheads, you're talking about the mob.

The mob, from ancient times until today, was the ruling class's worst nightmare. It's also everyone else's worst nightmare, because you have to remember that most people in the U.S. and other Western countries don't belong to either the ruling class or the mob. They're just trying to do the best they can without fighting on either side of a revolution.

The mob always wants radical change and they always want it right now, not tomorrow. They don't worry much about all the negative consequences of their actions. They're too busy trying to tear down everything they don't like to bother thinking about exactly how they'll pick up the pieces and build something better.

My suggestion is that besides criticizing the Establishment, people remember to fear the mob as well. The mob today comes with a variety of signs and righteous-sounding slogans but it's still a mob. And, at heart, it's just as bloodthirsty and unprincipled as any group of obvious savages rampaging through the streets in times past. The only thing stopping them is the law and the very formidable forces behind the law.

I vote for the law over the mob and peaceful change over chaos and revolution. I don't agree with TigerLily that our system allows for a bloodless revolution but I do think it's possible to shift the balance of power from the more corrupt to the less corrupt or non-corrupted. That's not a position which will sell on TV, however.

Only because it hasn't turned out be true. Whether people vote democrat or republican they find things still going the same way, and that's whatever way big money wants us to go. Sometimes the mob is just the biggest and most powerful huddling together and sometimes it actually the mob (as in the mafias). If you fear the mob it's probably just because you're privileged enough to be on the ruling class side. Too bad you guys have had to prop up that side by robbing from little old ladies pensions and such.   ::) :P
