I agree, no reason Chris wouldn't be on OSOM. Tonight is Stephen Bassett and it should be a great show. However, I am eastern time and can never be up to listen.

Same here. The Dean Haglund interview was the only OSOM I've listened to, and it was totally random. I happened to wake up and it was on. I have to catch the recorded episodes (of MITD) the next day.

This is going to be a great show.

I bet RCH is gnashing his teeth. Because, I remember him saying that he wants to talk to Chris carter and share his "ideas" for the new X-Files.

I wonder if he'll call in tonight . . . .

RCH would lay out the whole monuments on Mars thing and cap it off with "...and the best part is, it's all true. It's not fiction." CC would probably reply, "Yeah we thought about something like that but it didn't go anywhere." Huge pregnant pause and then NUCLEAR MELTDOWN.

Element 115

Well I'll be a wigglin' whisker. I reckon I'm going to mix up my fav Grey Goose n' Chaga Cape Codder and maybe catch some open lines later. I bought American Spirit loose tobacco and gonna sit out on the deck and listen on my C-Crane.

i'd liek to say i am surprised..but i am not

Heather should scramble and get another Chris Carter. As mentioned the NFL player or even this Chris Carter.

Or just pull out a phone book and call random "Chris Carters", actually that would be hilarious. Instead I fear we get a bunch of open-lines bemoaning "where's Chris Carter" and "I miss you Art," or worse.

I'd laugh so hard if Carter ended up being a surprise guest on Hoaxie tonight.

nah..RCH has Bassett...no way he would bump him for Carter

No it wouldn't be lame, it would be perfectly legitimate. When it was originally scheduled, Art was the host.

Bingo, you win a cookie.

EDIT:
No, no, I kid, I kid.. You're alright, sir... Look at him, folks. One cookie and he thinks I'm God. Did you ever? ...You're fine, sir, you're fine. Sit down.

Some pretty good bumper music, a couple of Arctic Chaga ads, a discount code for Avon eye cream and a couple of ads for radios. And Heather. Heather is getting better.

Anyone that doesn't like listening to her should just move on to C2C or Clyde Lewis.

Or stick a fork in their eye.

Sorry you're butt hurt about everyone criticizing Heather but you may have noticed I was criticizing the guest.   Maybe it will be interesting. I will give him a try but when you lead a three hour show with a "special announcement" and then that announcement ends up being that some guy half of us have never heard of who created the X files is the aforementioned special announcement, it kind of lets the air out of the room. It's a cheesy tactic.  I almost od'd on Arctic chaga trying to stay awake.

Maybe Art will be the surprise guest tomorrow night.

Some of the elation I'm seeing here from this cancelation is revealing.

I know it's turned into a complete charade at this point, but I guess from an outsider's point of view (i've only been posting since the summer and got more active when Hoagie went all Culver City Toyota on me), you guys just want the whole thing to burn in flames so you can say you watched it and that you completed some vendetta against certain people.

Maybe a choice few.  Most of us just want something interesting to chat about

Not everyone. But to put it in perspective, this forum started out as GeorgeNoorySucks.com. A bunch of people are used to just spewing shit irregardless of the target.

For the person who saw no elation

hey people like what they like. if you have a personal beef and want to see it burn, fine, I won't judge.  For me personally I would like to see a somewhat happy ending to this fiasco.

A happy ending in generally preferred.  $4.99 is a steal.

If he didn't know Art quit, then we don't want him. Where has he been?  What's he been doing?

Ef him I say.
Indeed. The last thing MITD needs is someone who has a life beyond BG and DMDN.

You meant "No reason to shove that ir in there."  Unless you're coining the term "egardless," which has a neat linguistically subversive quality to it.

A LOT

Keith just posted an update saying it is all fine and the show will continue for now and that Heather had a significant size audience. There is a dick joke there. Lol. I find his update timing fascinating. As in the size was significant. Never mind. Carry on.
