He jumped the shark when hee returned to MITD. It was Mel's Hole Part 2 all over again.
Not really, he updated lots of things he was doing since his last show many years ago.
Mels hole was always a farce since day one.

He is one of the few guests that im curious about, most are just full of shit.
Mad Man is interesting, not sure if all the statements he makes are true but i actually give him a chance at being believable.

I think he blew it coming back on with Art - I think it's something best left in the past - like Mel's Hole.

Are you sure Mad Man wasn't in farce territory too to begin with?

RoseGirl

It just dawned on me that the caliber of guest directly relates to how badly I need to get a life.

Please, please, please...be someone good.

Heather just said Chinese stock market is taking a tumble.  When they go broke they are going to come to the U.S. and want all the money they lent us paid back and we are gonna say "Screw You, Come and Get it."  And then we're gonna write the debt off and China is gonna be screwed. HA HA

He is much more believable than Mels hole,
Mel was a fake from the get go in my mind

Skype it on up boys.

I'm a man, Baby.

But in truth, I have yet to even make a single attempt to call in to this show. That moment will come.

I was busy tonight, and now I gotta shower.

Special guest is probably Chris Carter just an fyi. He was suppose to be on with Art.

Spoilers or whatever.

That would make sense. It would be a feather in Heather's cap if she and Keith were able to get him to come on despite Artageddeon.

Are you saying there was no hole, or are you saying Mel was not completely truthful? Asking for a friend.

RoseGirl

C2C would have a melt down it if were Chris Carter.

Mel's hole was fascinating, and not for Mel's hole, but the way Art Bell conducted that very first interview. I heard it live, and I remember telling myself, "jeezuz, Art is making a compelling interview with a guy who has a hole in the ground!"

Not really. Carter whores himself out regularly when he has a new project about to launch.

Likely other times as well.

im sure it was a hole, but certainly not as he said, the goat thing made me believe it was bullshit

Mel part 1 was fascinating--I had no reason not to believe it... never thought it was bottomless, but it was a great story.  When he came back the second time with that whole "the military took my land" thing, it started to sound bullshitty.  And then the return:  "Went to Australia, got my ass kicked on a bus, woke up in the US," or whatever... that was a disappointment.

Meltdown with no affiliates?? Yeah right...
No guest has the ability to save this show right now.

EXACTLY, Art can make "most" any guest interesting.

The bad thing would be that Carter might only be on for an hour or so.

Not that it would be a bad thing. I'm not as down on split shows as a lot of people round here are.
