Had a thought...  Worked with someone who went through hell, turns out it was his wife's boyfriend trying to provoke him and, ultimately, get him out of the way...  It wasn't like this (it was city-based but there were car vandalism incidents, phone calls, letters...

Not saying anything directly but...  It could be business, pleasure, money...

Something to watch out for is that both of them have guns, somebody may shoot the other...

problem with catching Art's intruder..crazy fan..what ever is..the 3 times he has talked about him..the stories made it sound there would be little the cops could do cause they have no description..always at night of course..and Art didn't/doesn't have his cameras recording
