Dogs aren't bulletproof.

Dogs will charge a shooter and distract.  Many shooters aren't trained well and aren't calm enough to hit a charging target.  Giving Art a chance to hit his target. Dobermans would be better but the kitties may have an issue.

I would like to think that Art caught the guy but doubt it.
