I know it's early, and it was after 3pm when I got up today, but I'm tired.  I'm thinking of going to bed.  Besides, it's cold in here even with the heater on, so getting under some cozy blankies sounds mighty inviting to me.

Well if you do, sleep well. This will keep unsettling dreams from disturbing you. Nite lady

Thank you so much, Serenity, for the beautiful Dream Catcher.  I wish I knew how to make them.

It's a thousand calories a bite!

That is why the only way to eat them is to take BIG bites.

I would love to make you one starrmtn, but my arthritis doesn't allow me to do it anymore.  However, I found this modern day hippy to demonstrate how to make them.  They are easy and fun!

I just want to apologize to Bella-Haven about the recent ugliness centered around my consumption of canned spinach recently.  I had shared some things privately with Gravity Sucks and he started blabbing about it all over.  :(

Yes I do like REAL sour cream and REAL butter. I'm not going to apologize for who I am. I hope you people can come to forgive me the ugliness and accept me as as REAL DAIRY fan. I just simply can't change who I am.  :)

You are correct, however, I used to love looking for feathers while I was out walking to use on my dream catchers rather than purchase them at an art store.  I still do pick up beautiful feathers while I'm walking when I see them, and add them to my dreamcatcher.  I also pin on things that have meaning for me.  For example, on the bigger one, you see an Irish Flag pin, and one of those hippie flags they use to make with brass pins, and red white and blue beads, among other things.

And a baked potato... Don't deny it. There was a baked potato involved. You can try and hide behind your can of spinach.

I seem to remember something about "Glassy smooth cast iron". What are you a girl?  Go eat your spinach and spud with curdled dairy. You don't even have the guts to call into the GabCast and explain your actions. What next, collard greens in a can?

yes damnit! GLASS SMOOTH CAST IRON!

Back in the day, when America was great we made cast iron pans with smooth finishes. Not the rumbly, bumbly sufaces of today's cast iron. My Mom gave me her mother's chicken fryer cast iron pan. That thing has the patina of a CENTURY of cooking in it!

Some days, I don't even eat, I just look at that pan and feel full. Don't hate me for who I am.  I was going to call into the Trainwreck show tonight and explain it...but WHERE is MV? Hm? I'm pretty sure this is a concerted effort to suppress the truth!

I love this post!   ..there there Starr go back to bed, can I bring you breakfast in bed, in the morning?

Time for the Saturday post.

Tonight starting at 8PM Central until Midnight Central ( Thats 6 to 10pm Pacific for you guys in Rio Linda ) on http://ksyl.com is: Art Bell: Somewhere in Time. Where Art returns to 5/5/97 when Peter Davenport reported on a series of odd UFO sightings in Texas.

http://ksyl.com has a live stream listed on their page and they can also be found on Tune-in.
If you are local to NW Louisiana or if the propagation is right, you can hear them on 970AM,
I do not know if the show is in the archive. Jazmunda might have the info on that. However from past info, these may be the "new" classics and may not be in the archive.

For those of you with a bent for nostalgia, from 6pm to 8pm Central, ksyl plays When Radio Was, with old radio shows from the time when "Radio was King!"

Remember "Theres Magic in the Static"
"When you go outside tonight, look to the sky, you never know what you may see"

Yorkshire pud

I know it's late for the party but it'll keep a while before getting putrid..

gabrielle

so I just woke up to hear a lady on the radio say  "pretty soon you will be able to use your tablet as a joy stick".   My brain hurts.   Better get another coffee. :)

They probably already get them out of vending machines in Japan. In various colours and multi speed.

gabrielle

Thanks for the pork YP.  I could use some right now.  The vending machine over here only has bacon bits in a bag.  :)

The Japanese much prefer pictogram instruction manuals. You rarely if ever get Japanese products without them.

The pictograms won't be for the women......some of the men won't know which way up to hold a woman let alone know what to do next. Hence instructions.  :)

That mega coffee is GREAT!!  Must be about 10 pots or so, and I can just dip my mug in it to grab some, much quicker than pouring  ;D

I'm relistening to Uncle Hoagie, fell asleep about an hour in last night.

It won't be just the poor bastard's sides that hurt if he can't get the basics right. Homework is seldom wasted. And the six P's.. Perfect preparation prevents piss poor performance. Even in Japan.
