I started typing this, and by the time I finished almost another page of posts went up! I’m so slow!! Now I think you’ve all moved on!

Anyway, a few highlights of what I was going to post:

I was going to mention how I think Gravity may have misunderstood Ponyboy’s original post. Maybe when she wrote “Just because I don't agree with your opinion does not make you a bad person in my book” she wasn’t meaning you, Gravityâ€"she meant various posters in general. At least that’s how I read it. 

Ponyboy, I certainly agree with youâ€"especially the parts were you “wish[ed] everyone could just respect each other's views.”  I think you are respectful. I think part of the problem is people are talking over each other rather than to each other. I can’t for the life of me understand why someone has to viciously attack someone just because they don’t agree with them. I admire your ability to let it all roll off your back. I wish I could be that way.

Brig, you’ve said a couple of times that people have gotten on your case for your opinions. Honestly, I haven’t seen this on the threads. I haven’t seen anyone telling you that you are negative. But, then again, I could have missed something! Brig, you are well liked on BellGabâ€"you have every right to your opinions...here and everywhere you’d like to express them!  (Guess it’s too late for me to say Go Bills?)

Thank You Brig.  You are a remarkable woman.  I have never intentionally wanted anyone to be quiet....but from now on I won't post unless I have taken the proper time to read the posts above for context.

I have to go...I'm trying to catch up on some programs my brother and daughter watch, that I'm behind on. Post what you feel Gabby.  That's what I want to do, and that's what I intend to continue doing.  Sometimes it will be here in this thread, and sometimes it will be in other threads. No biggie.

I always thought trolls were evil beings that lived under bridges or in the mountains and rocks. And when I learned of "internet trolling" I thought it meant in terms of trying to trick people- but now I know that internet practice is "phishing" and the internet troll comes from the original meaning of troll, not the fishing technique of trolling.

We are talking about Pasadena after all. No offense. Not sure it got much better even after Gilley's burnt down. The whole "cowboy chic" thing that swept the nation though was quite hilarious! Especially when the "fashion" designers etc got into the supposed cowboy-style. Classic.
