Last night Knapp got a caller in the first hour who wondered what happened to long-time caller/character JC, but Knapp acted like he didn't know who that was.
Is Knapp the only c2c host JC hasn't called on the air?

I heard that, too.  Kind of surprising.  Who hasn't heard of JC?  The current JC, though, appears to just be a C2C plant who primarily calls Nooron, probably whenever Nooron or Tommy want to run him up the flagpole for some sick reason.

I'm kind of glad Knapp didn't seem to be aware of JC and, fortunately, didn't show much interest.  Not Knapp's style.  With Nooron, I'm surprised he doesn't have the JC stooge call in weekly, the same way he plays UFO Phil every Friday night.  That would fit Noory's style.  ::)

I was disappointed that Knapp hadn't heard of JC.  Didn't he ever listen to Art Bell?  It seems like none of the C2C hosts listen to shows hosted by other C2C hosts.  You'd think they'd at least skim through them to see what their fellow hosts are doing.

Ian and Knapp have day jobs, and I don't think it's an intentional slight, but kind of amusing in the big picture how disconnected the hosts are from each other.

It's pretty clear George Noory isn't even listening to his own dreck, why would Ian or Knapp

Also explains how Knapp and Punnett are able to speak of Simple George almost as if he were normal -- gags me every time!  :P

Now that's just mean. Maybe the problem is communicating by print, but that was a snarkless, straight-up "howdy". Jeez, now I must go brood in my Fortress of Solitude until I become a superhero...

Hot diggity damn, I have tomorrow off because of Sandy, and I just found out Knapp's on tonight! Looks like a good one, too, one of those campfire scary type shows about the world's weirdest places. With my luck, though, the power will go out at 1:01.  ::)

I've said it before, I'll say it again, JC and UFO Phil are the same person.

So we are getting JC weekly, just in a more annoying form, other than when Wells fills in on Friday for The Nooron and provides some merciful relief from the JC/UFO Phil nightmare.  It's good to see at least Noory lived up to my expectations for suckage.

Never got to hear it, and then I lost power because of the storm, but I'm listening to it tonight on Streamlink. Now I'm really looking forward to it!

The dream was found many miles away, partially undressed and babbling about lights in the sky.

Does Knapp host regularly on Sundays now? I may have to pay more attention.  :-*

Doomed

Knapp does one show a month. And thank god he does.
George Knapp is one of those guys who has the chops to get the job done. He has knowledge of many subjects, some more, and some less. Even the really crappy stuff he manages to eek at least abit of new info, and he stays awake for the entire show. Unless it is a infomercial type program, the kind noory loves, noory fuzzes out after the first 15 minutes.
Tonight is a throwback to the old days, IMHO, with Knapp doing what he does best. Talk UFOs. At times in the past he outshined the guest. Tonight he is in his element and the guests are up to the standard we used to enjoy years ago. I can honestly state I am a happy camper. For now at least. For tomorrow I know it will be back to lackluster guests and a complete doorstop for a host.
Some of you may dissagree with my assessment of tonights show. So be it. Could be Im one of those so starved for a decent edition of C2C, that Im grabbing at anything beyond noorys daily stool. But I dont think I am. Tonight Im happy to say, George Knapp got it right.

Scully

Knapp does two Sunday shows a month, and tonight's is a great one.  It's Ian who only does one Sunday a month now.  Knapp is the real deal.

(I "think" if there are 5 Sundays in a month, Knapp may do 3 of them.  Morgus will know.)

Doomed

Good to know. Thanks.
Sundays always make me nervous because snoory sometimes hosts. I hate it when that happens. Its a shitty way to start the week.

Morgus

Yeah Knapp's regular c2c schedule is the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Noory hosts the 1st Sunday and Ian the 2nd Sunday.
If there is a 5th Sunday, Knapp sometimes does it or some other host fills in.

Noory's shows are tasteless gruel. Knapp's programs are tasty meals. The gourmands liked what was on tonight's menu. This show's recipe was both delicious and nutritious, and the guests were capable and credible cooks. A lot of listeners lost their appetites for the Coast restaurant's offerings of EBEs and UFOs due to the outlandish grub that's unpalatable to the discriminating connoisseur, not edible, not safe for consumption according to the Board of Health. Tonight's Coast removed that bitter taste from many diners' palettes, as it was a gourmet meal. It was like going from a greasy spoon, with rats and roaches in the kitchen, to the Four Seasons. Knapp is like Julia Child while the half-baked Chef Noorar-di might give his customers food poisoning.

So whats the consensus on last night?  I fell out early so I'm listen to a download later today (after O&A of course) but I have always loved the Rendlesham story and have held it up as one of the best examples of UFO evidence to date.  It's all eye witness testimony but still I think it's the closest thing to proof of alien visitation.  The audio from that incident has always sent chills up my spine.

Juan

Last night's show reminded me of why I came to love Coast.  Knapp is not Art, but he's good. Last night, but he and his guests knew their subjects and were making an attempt at honest reporting, not just book selling.

Sardondi

George Knapp shows us what C2C was, what it could have been and probably even what it still could be...if they made Knapp the voice of C2C and threw Noory money at him.

In the past Knapp has made clear he was not interested in giving up his "day job" at KLAS-TV. He's a legitimate investigative journalist, and has even been nationally recognized for his investigation of and reporting on local voter fraud. He loves what he does. Still, I wonder if he loves it enough to turn down full-time-host money.

But that's probably a futile question. After all, what decisions has Premiere/Clear Channel ever made about C2C which give us hope they might make a brilliant one about Knapp?

What might have been.

You've got it.  Only listened a little last night but what I heard sounded good.  Knapp was letting the guest talk and being his usual very good self.  Nooron would have been asking questions such as "I hear theysh can't cook very good in England.  Wassh U think 'bout that?"  ::)

ziznak

Knapps show kicked ass.  This is how you can take subject matter and incidents that have long been discussed and make a whole new show out of them.  It all comes down to the host.  Lotsa new info I didnt know about on one of the best UFO incidents ever documented.  He's not Art but He's just as good IMO.  He def lacks the comic relief of Art but as far as interviewing goes he's right there with him.

ACE of CLUBS

Have always enjoyed Knapp......
He has the smarts, enthusiasm, and exudes a kind of joy at bringing the show along......

I find more pleasure in ramming a sharpened pencil into my ear than listening to that dullard Noory....
