I've never been one to hang around the scene of an accident and discuss the sad and sordid details...So while MITD sorts itself out I thought I'd search for some well-produced radio dramas and stories with a Paranormal/Science Fiction emphasis.  I've started a thread under Other Talk Shows.  Feel free to add programs of interest to the list.

If Art shows up once or twice a month that's worth $5 to me. So if you want that to happen, people need to keep their subscriptions.

Maybe, but we'll never know in advance when he'll be calling in.  They will not be long calls and probably little interaction with the audience.  I would like rotating hosts.

Just a thought, if Heather does well and I am sure she will and if things are quite here for some time I may do a unannounced fill in once in a while. The biggest problem I had was the exact routine I had to follow with this stalking jerk. We are watching every car on our street and there have been a few. Living life like this is less fun.

Art is doing it again....dangling that carrot after he just pulled the rug out from under so many peoples feet!! ...not just us the audience, but all the people at DMDN, Keith, the affiliates, support staff etc.

So what does he think we will do? Tune in every night waiting with baited breath just in case he shows up on the air for a minute or more?!?! This is almost sick. 

Stop the jerk around Art...please. If you are still in fear of your family's safety, why are you still there? You didn't have to quit as you had other options but you did...so stop already. This is getting more than old and quite frankly I find it insulting.

I hope Redacted has a good run. I think it will be short because it wouldn't matter who was in that seat the networks and people outside of bellgab want Art. (And probably some bellgabbers too) It has nothing to do with her talent, it has everything to do with a product they know over an unknown. If given a choice most networks are going to run Art.  I feel the worst for Keith and the other podcasters on that network. They will be pre-emptied for this which isn't fair. But hey, life ain't fair. It will be interesting to watch for sure. Or listen. But am I paying to listen, nope.

For now, I think supporting MITD and OTOM helps bellgab, so for that reason, I have no regrets for supporting them at the moment.
Can they keep me?  Only time will tell.

It'll be completely random! Just you wait and see!" Every FB status has been along those lines, and it leaves me feeling a bit ill.

After throwing Heather to the wolves the other night and destroying the DMDN (and a lot of people's hard work along with it), I just can't get behind Art anymore. It's all just shitty behavior, plain and simple.

This is like a bad high school break-up, and none of us are teenagers anymore.

He needs to stop posting these FB updates. After a point, they're just cruel. Let your fans mourn and accept the fact that you won't be returning to MitD. You're not going to be back -- not really. Just be an adult and say it. It's not that hard.

Yea I put everything on hold for two and a half years to take care of my mother.

I can understand the concern over a child's well being. Raising kids is a singularly demanding task. Assuming that is Art's primary concern I understand that completely.

Though the collateral damage is this situation is pretty bad. I think that is what people are overreacting to.

I've moved on. Heather may do well.  Or not. Pretty much a dead issue.
