That sounds like the same stream startup issue, intermitten and have to keep retrying several times for several minutes to get connected.
Weird that we didn't have this startup issue before THIS weekend!

Maybe its some kind of internet attack on the DM servers by some unknown agency?

Yep sounds like the intermittent stream startup issue.
We need to find a way to report this issue to Keith since its now confirmed we are all seeing it at times.

Not sure it means anything but I was having streaming issues on Tune-In my with local AM station's feed earlier this evening. And I had full-on WiFi connection (could access other stuff, no problem) and also could get same station on my radio on AM no problem.) It got better, somewhat, but all during "Beyond the Beltway" it kept wanting to cache/restream. Also during our local shows before it. (And didn't try any others, yet.)

Just connected to the DMDN stream on my iPhone after about a 2 minute wait.  Tonight is the test, so it's an opportunity to work out all the kinks.  Big thanks to Keith who will no doubt be sleep-deprived for the next few days.  Sorry I'll miss the festivities tonight as I'm working.  Will it be available for a later download?

I'm listening to an old Art bell interview with Dr. Roger Leir and when it went to commercial the advertisement stated that you could purchade a copy of the show on cassette tape.    That just struck me again how far we've come in a small amount of time.  So many downloadable and streaming options now, and just 20 years ago you had to get a copy on cassette mailed to you.  I actually wish that was still an option.

Same with TuneIn (though I don't have Tune-In Pro and have an older version- that used to work with everything.) The various phone numbers to listen to DMDN seem to work (though sound through my ear buds are scratchy though.)

UPDATE-  I just connected but it took about 5 minutes or more to finally connect. 

Anyone here who is interested in listening online tonight I would highly recommend using a client that will automatically continually try to connect on it's own.

Actually it just disconnected and reconnected...that's going to reeeally suck for anyone trying to create an archive.

Stream working great now on Tune-In (playing Paulitis, I think, show called "Paranormal" my Tune-In says!) (Though I still wonder if there is a phone line for older folks to 'listen only' or those without WiFi, smartphone on there telephone/speakerphone.)
