When I was 14, sneaking onto the steps to listen to my father listening to Art Bell at 2am, it was magical..
When I graduated high school and stayed up later the summer of 99 doing it on my own, on an AM radio, it was amazing.
After 9/11, Art Bell calmed me down.
During Katrina, the same..
The generation that has grown up since he left Coast doesn't known long form radio.. true paranormal radio.. deep thought.. science.. conjecture based insight and intelligence.
They are about to.
The fans from then are going to unite with the newcomers from now.
For those who are about to listen to ART BELL for the first time, be aware you will never want to go to bed again.

Mid 90's for me. Gotta love third shift Kinkos, and even better was piping his broadcasts into the stores system. Never had one complaint BTW.

True on 6Week and Bateman...that would be a close call! But Skunk Ape put up that gif of Dave Chappelle "Bitch Slap" immediately after we all learned Art stole RCH from C2C...Classic!

Oh well, it's better you can not read it anyway

Art

imagine

Many of the videos created by very talented people here could give any ad agency a  run for their money.

(Redacted) kudos for an excellent job interviewing Art.  As many others have said I was so proud of you and you sounded like a pro.  Art certainly knew what he was doing when he chose you.

Bellgab has a wealth of talent.  Art is being represented by 'Bellgab Talent' that puts the alleged professionals to shame.

ziznak

I hope nothing comes near yer house Art

Art, good it is happening on test night! How did you keep the power on in the old days when you did C2C?

I wonder if Dave is behind this!?!  :P
This passed thru California yesterday and it was pretty intense, but didn't last long., and there was no wind associated with it.

Mastodonkey

Just soldier through the weather Art, should make for good broadcasting. If you have a window nearby you can tell us of the mayhem.

That's best case scenario.

Worst case scenario: Lightning fries the entirety of your equipment and we wait another two years. Anything and everything is possible.

Don't worry Art, the folks here are having a profound effect via "intention". Even if there's no intentional intention, we're all willing the badness away!

Word.

Hey, this reminds me, I never knew Art was broadcasting during the Northridge earthquake until I heard the interview with John the other night. I have to look that up.

Classic Art Bell if you ask me.....excitement, a little tension, and always cognizant of the fact that mother nature rules.

A very fitting beginning to a man that acknowledges the power of the universe ...

You'll be fine, Art. We will all be using our intention to steer the storms away. We will let NOTHING get in the way of your return. Welcome back, my friend.
