I think PRN has so fouled C2C with Noory kept on long past his sell-by date, and adding the toxic Wells, that Bell would have nothing to so with it. How could a man who wouldn't allow Alex Jones on C2C after he went "Truther" share the marquee with Wells?

Coast is ready for the trash heap. they'll keep it around in one form or another as long as they can keep advertisers interested but at some point they'll need to build a newer, shinier, less stinky cash cow

I'd love to see Art Bell back on the radio, but not with crappy Coast to Coast and all their awful commercials. I'd love to see Art doing his own show, out of his own house, with no one telling him what to do. I never listen to radio anymore, I only ever listened to it with Art Bell. Even in the Art Bell days, when Coast to Coast came in and started running the show, it was hard to listen too. So Art, please come back, on your own, without crappy Coast to Coast. You don't need some inflated corp running your show.

If Art does decide to return to a late night format, doing weekends only would be the best decision, since Coast2Toast would be playing somewhere in times on Saturdays, hed be on 2 networks at once, one with his live show, and on premiere with somewhere in time.
People who listen to the "Real classics" of coast through somewhere in time with Art, will find out hes on another station now, but LIVE, and congregate over and quickly gain art listenership.
Although. if the 2 shows couldn't be broadcast at once people will still tune in since they listened to SIT anyway.

Last night I was able to listen to some of Arts old show from 2003 when he had come back on the air. It was great hearing the guest and callers welcoming him back.
It was a good warm up for if he does come back on this year. Also I now can listen to the shows from way back in 1993. Back then I worked days during the week at my main job. But on Friday and Saturday nites I worked a side job on the 11pm to 7am shift so that's when I first started listening. So now I can listen to the shows that I never heard before.
It is a HELL of alot better than the current crap with continual commercials for Tumeric, Ty Bollinger's "Cancer Step outside The Box" Carnavora pushing, and those inane pre scripted Buy Gold NOW! commercials! Gee Gold is dropping in price now, what will all those crazy stockpiling survivalists do now?

I'm mostly a lurker but have posted occasionally. I stopped listening to C2C a couple years ago. I would get so angry at Noory playing like he's a real talk radio host that I knew it was doing me no good so I quit. I listened to FineArt till it was taken off the air recently. Now I listen to Ted Talks (replays of speeches given at Ted Conferences).

I'd like to see Art come back in some form or another but I won't get my hopes up. Is he doesn't come out and say how Noory and company have ruined C2C then it would be hard for me to have respect for him. Art was never one to care if what he thought was politically correct or not and it"s time he spoke up about what Norry has done to Art's creation.

So let's take a ride Art and go all in. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Those of us who seem "disturbed" are in fact huge fans who are jaded as a result of the many recent cryptic teases and false starts. Having said that this latest cryptic offering seems to offer the most hope with the artbell.com URL activated and Art's offering that this is "exactly as it seems". If the rug is pulled from under us again sure there will be anger but at least this time we'll be prepared for a big bowl of disappointment.

Art could make a lot of money just doing a podcast with a minimum number of shows a month and bonus money for extra. Sponsors would throw money at him. The best part is, with a podcast, he could record the interviews whenever he wanted to. The only part missing would be the caller interaction.

I don't think Art has a podcast in mind. I think he intends to jump in with both feet. That means a nightly show, in direct competition with C2C, for the purpose of ridding the planet of the stinking cesspoll C2C has mutated into.

I hope Art will return. These last few days have been thrilling. I will gladly "take a ride" and help rid the airwaves of what C2C become. If Art returns, my guess is his primary motives will be missing radio and wanting to destroy the hellhole that is C2C. People like to say about America "What would the Founding Fathers think of us?" Imagine what the Founding Father of Coast to Coast AM must think of his creation being perverted into a craphole for right-wing drunkards and lazy hosts (Punnett and Knapp excepted) who do not care about the listeners.

Back in early February - the last time around - Art ended speculation by saying on Face Book -

"Ok friends, here is a honest update. For NOW I have turned down a offer for the following reason. I was thinking of doing this for the wrong reason, I was angry with Premiere, I still am, but that is the wrong reason to launch a radio program. As I said when I last left, "never say never". For now I will just say not yet."

To me that means that if he has something in the works now, it's because it's something he wants to do because it's right for him, and not just to spite PremRat and the Snorge. So it might not even be something that competes with them, or is even on in that time slot.

I would also add the HE never said he wasn't coming back. I take him at his word, there must be some middle ground between 'for sure Art is never coming back and he's just toying with people', and 'Art is coming back for sure this time'.

Ok... I'm back now with the latest Art Bell radio show tease... I am a huge fan of Art Bell. My wife, who is 24, never heard him when he was actually on the air, and she now devours the hundreds of shows I have in my personal archive one after the other. She gets upset because she can't call in, and she ALWAYS wants to call in. I gave her some GN shows and she can't stand them. She has no interest in C2C as it is now, but can't get enough of Art's format and hosting of the show.

My hopes are up, once again, that I will soon be able to sit and relax at home listening to Art. Now that I am married, I am anxious to share that experience with my wife. We can talk about it as it goes on... I'm really looking forward to it, if it happens. For the life of me... I can't possibly understand why he would be posting all of this if something wasn't done. Art isn't a web guy, so I think it's safe to say if he is having Keith work on the site again, something is up.

I don't care if he takes over C2C, gets his own show to go against it, or a combination... It really doesn't matter to me. I would love to have Art back on the air. I'm somewhat afraid to believe it 100% because if for no other reason than I don't want to be disappointed yet again.

I'll leave you all with this one bit of information. Someone earlier compared Art to Brett Favre, and I think that's a great example and here's why. I have worked with the Minnesota Vikings for a long time now. Back in 09, after Favre was released from the Jets and was talking with the Vikings about signing with us, the Green Bay Packers offered him 10 million dollars to NOT play for the Vikings. They wanted him to retire, and were willing to pay him very well to stay away from the Vikings, their rival, which was also the only team Favre wanted to play for in the first place. As much as he would have liked the easy money, Favre is a competitor, and he instead decided, after much deliberation, to sign with the Vikings because that is where his heart was. He loves the sport. I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that Art has been being offered rather large sums of money to stay away from radio. I think it could very well be that he has decided that he is a radio guy, and he needed to do what is in his blood to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if Art returns now. He has been considering it for a good amount of time now, and it seems likely that he is going to have to scratch the itch sooner rather than later. Folks, if he had no interest in returning to radio, none of this would be happening. Things just need to present themselves in the correct manner. Perhaps this time they have. I find it hard to believe he would come, for all intents and purposes, a half step away from announcing his return, if the deal wasn't already in the bag and signed.
