Wasn't throwing rocks at you, I'm a history guy myself and have taken some guests to task here for taking liberties with the past to further their own agendas.  What bothers me about guests like Hogue, Dames, Keating, and even Malichi Martin is/was their tendency to predict something while claiming some special ability, then in the next breath give themselves an out in the event they are wrong.  Later, when questioned about the prediction they take credit for being right either way.

I liken this to me placing a bet with a bookie, saying something like, "I'll take Nebraska and lay the ten points against Maryland......but if Maryland can shut down the Husker ground game, I like the Terps' chances"; then expecting to be paid if Maryland wins and holds Neb to 132 yards rushing.

Thanks.  I don't mind if people want to throw rocks at me though.  If I'm wrong on something or if somebody disagrees with me, I like to be called out on it.

I didn't recognize 'Keating.'  Kathleen Keating.  I remember her.  She hasn't been on the program in many years.

Just listened to Dave Schrader's 9/11 show with Mark Anthony, I think the caller you referenced here called in the last half hour of the show.  He started out relatively calmly, but quickly worked himself into a lather ranting about evil corporations, having no Constitutional rights on the internet, and something about YouTube taking money away from Alex Jones.  Anthony seemed somewhat perplexed.

I think there is a good possibility this guy is either a shill caller or (more likely) making the calls as a joke.  Still, he's moving up my list of favorite callers, joining Bill, Annie, the anti-Monsanto intention experiment guy, and the student
loan guy.
I think he is the guy that called and talked about making a youtube site about C2C and was planning to make some money but since C2C handles 'controversial' subjects youtube won't let videos like that be monetized. I'm not sure he is the same guy who has an elaborate theory about C2C listeners, astrology, and Monsanto's stock-price/ He seemed a bit more unhinged than usually on the 911 show though. I like it.

Yep, Ms Keating was something else.  How many people can claim to have had the Anti-Christ come to their backdoor at breakfast?  What became of her is something of a mystery, and has been a much discussed topic in various threads on Bellgab.  As I recall, there was a woman by that name who passed away in one of Dakotas several years ago, but that woman was quite a bit older than Keating looked to be.  Both George and Art have been asked on air about her, neither has a clue.

I would even listen to Heather if she could get Keating on. I loved her shows and really weird how she disappeared. There are some fringe forums who say she went into hiding due to the threat/coming apocalypse. Too common a name to really try to find if a death, civil commitment, victim of crime, etc. And if it was a pen name then even harder. She had some fun shows though.

Someone here tied Keating to the death in the Dakotas for a specific reason, something like that's where she was from originally or where she supposedly lived.  As I recall, the Antichrist visited her on her farm in Nebraska, so the Dakotas are in the neighborhood.  As for what happened to her, I think she decided she'd lost any credibility she had by painting herself into too many corners with fairly time specific, failed predictions of things to come.  Her last appearance on C2C, maybe ten years ago, was in support of her book "The Final Warning".  Some of the predictions in the book were quite horrific, even George sounded a bit unnerved, but none came true within the time frames she specified.  I always thought of her as as a good interview, although a bit melodramatic for my tastes.

Yeah, she made a rookie mistake. But I liked Keating because she gave and was certain of timing and events. Unlike the usual hacks who are on C2C for decades and always with excuses why something did happen, how something actually did happen (but you didn't notice it,) or it is "quantum" and we cannot know both the location or the timing of the event, etc.

George Noory Sucks
Sucks whom or what, or where or even when? C'mon he sucks for a reason not just because he said he's Tommy's husband!  And "frisky" at closing time!

Well, he spent two hours night before last interview-fellating  Robert Shapiro. All talk show hosts are at their worst when interviewing a guest who they think they (and you) should admire.

Jorch is the worst of the worst, when this happens.  Did he bring up how knows Bill Mumy and Pat Boone with Shapiro?  Now he'll be acting like Shapiro is just another drinking buddy of his.

Jorch and his Hollywood-worshiping reminds me of this George and his "Seinfeld" experience with Corbin Bernsen and George Wendt at "The Tonight Show" studio.

Did the gross receipts from the Asheville event even cover Tommy's meals?

During open lines a caller talks about being ejected out of his seat on a roller coaster and how a lady behind him pushed him back down into his seat preventing him from flying out.  Noory asks "Were you scared?" The caller chuckles with surprise at the question and says sarcastically, "Nooo of course not"...(pauses)..."YEAH! of course I was!!!"  After that call, Noory talks about how he doesn't like amusement park rides and can't understand why people like the thrill of it.  He stated he only liked to play the games there...even though they jip you and the 'carny' makes fun of you. LOL!

Route 66

Yeah, those carny shills could intuitively spot an easy mark like noory;  I liked the roller coaster story, too, and wasn't surprised that Dave misunderstood what the caller was going through.  Isn't it amazing how many callers still suck up to Noory as if he really cares about them?

Robert

Didn't hear it, but from reading it here I can't say "Were you scared?" was a bad question.  Sometimes you should just throw up a softball like that that's expressing sympathy and interest, and saying, "Tell us more."  Not every statement requires a deeply probing response.

What really threw me off with Hogue when he said his prediction can change with some more information comes out. Umm doesn't that just make you an analysis? Which is fine, I am bit of a data nerd, people who do it well is a good skill to have and are usefull. But that certainly doesn't make you a mystic psychic or some great ancient decoder. It just makes you a dude who looks at trends and data and makes a logical guess.

I just read your comment when some "expert" came on the Norry show for a news update talking about "charts" for Hillary and Trump. Hilarious gobbledygook with mentions of Capricorn, Mars, Uranus, and charts and then a "I can't predict because so close."

Jorch doesn't like carnies.  Just more self-hate.  Bring on the clowns.

Norry and Tommie had another one of their little tiffs about "bird stories" and a caller said that they "remind her of a married couple" and Norry proclaimed "I'm the husband" and caller said "ok, you guys are nuts." And then she complained about CCrane customer service and Norry inquired about the caller's price range in buying radios and some technical advice due "to combination of her back-medicine and eye-sight" can't read the manuals but only receives $650/month but he is going to get Tommie to put her on a plan (and then added "radio-wise.")

Morgus

Noory is doing another of his frequent alternative health infomercials for 2 hours tonight.
He obviously gets a kickback having on guests from that health website he promotes.

I tried to listen.  Nope.  Just made it through the first 30 minutes.  I hate the infomercial stuff.  C2C is about 40% infomercial nowadays.   It's a shame really.

Reminds me of one customer who complained when I was a psychic phone seer, because I used a non-psychic avenue of questioning on him.  Huh, not interested in analysis of your problem unless it comes by spooky means?

Near the end of this show, George took a call from a woman named Barbara in California, with Annie on deck.  He told Barbara to stay on the line, then took Annie's call.  After she told a story about her NDE, George conferenced the three of them together and told the women he thought they were the same woman.  Barbara immediately objected, telling George she had been born and raised in CA.  At that point both women started talking simultaneously, with George chuckling in the background.  One of the few times George's idea of a joke actually worked.

I'll be honest in admitting that I also have harbored some suspicions that they were the same person/caller (maybe as a prank) but it would just appear that Norry attracts a very specific demographic in callers.

Tangential question .. Did Annie ever figure out what happened with her lost million dollars?

Unknown.  I think there are quite a few things Annie has't figured out, the bulk of them we'd find particularly amusing.

For some reason I think Morgus knows, but isn't telling us.

Dateline

Coast should just become know as "Norry's informercial platform" from Coast to Coast.

Norry does not have time for anyone unless they can make him money, or he can make money off of them.
