I used to listen solely for the purpose of having a guest lose it when he asks a question that was answered by what the guest had just been talking about.  I wanted to hear the words "Have you heard a fucking word I said?"

Absolutely nothing is wrong with it if you are tuned in to sports talk radio. I really don't care to hear Jorch’s top 10 sports gambling techniques. You know somewhere in that interview he will interject his personal experience on the slots at Circus Circus

After reading about the show on sports rigging I went to the Coast website to check out the host.  It will be Richard Syrett.

Then, something else caught my eye and it must be a Coast dirty little secret.  The schedule for the next week was posted, and every show is a split show.  That is one where the person is interviewed for a hour and calls are taken for a hour. 

Also, I have noticed if they have a yucky topic like alternative health or politics and one that is more traditional Coast, most of the time the yucky topic is the first two hours.  The one that I would be most interested in listening to is the last two hours, and I cannot usually stay up.

I DON"T CARE AT ALL for Coast lite, or with Norry lies.  That is why I have for the most part become a Coast non-listener rather than listener.

Most of the guests offended by Norry are the legit ones (real scientists, doctors, philosophers/academics, historians, etc.) And you can tell they are off-put by his manner, clearly didn't not read the book or even look into the subject matter, and him not listening/repeating the same question. But, usually, they are polite and worked in their criticism more subtlety. For example:
-long sighs
-silence
-using phrases such as "as I just said," as we discussed earlier," "like I told Mike the trucker in Missouri," and other such phrases. Sometimes you can almost hear the guests in the background texting their publicist or secretaries: "how the hell did I get on this program?" "who is this dolt, simply by appearing with him tears down my credibility?"
